About this collection

Every performance I stage relies on the chemistry between the dancers and the live orchestra. I do not use recorded audio for my stage shows because the Nattuvangam and rhythmic responses must happen in the moment, reacting to the specific energy of the audience and the venue.

My performance calendar is a reflection of my evolving relationship with Bharatanatyam. From the structured intensity of a solo Rangaabhivandane to the complex narratives of my ensemble work like 'Tyāgarāja Hṛt Sadana' or the exploration of male emotions in 'Sakha', my goal is to communicate stories that resonate.

I believe that a performance is not just a display of skill, but a conversation. My work with live musicians—often involving a mix of vocal, Mridangam, flute, and violin—allows for improvisation that recorded tracks simply cannot match. This is why I focus heavily on thematic productions that push the boundaries of traditional repertoire.

If you are planning an event, festival, or educational workshop in Bengaluru or across India, please note that I require adequate time for sound checks and orchestra coordination. My process for ensemble shows includes strict formation planning and stage geometry, ensuring that the visual impact is as strong as the abhinaya. I welcome collaborations with other dance schools and artists who are interested in exploring themes ranging from philosophy and mythology to social commentary. Whether it is an intimate temple performance or a large-scale theatre production, the focus remains on the purity of the form and the clarity of the narrative.
