Real athletic preparation isn't always about the perfect gym setup. It is about adaptability, consistency, and understanding how to train when you are on the road, mid-season, or working with limited equipment.

A look at a game day prep session, featuring single-leg plyometrics for explosive power and bench presses for upper body strength.

All the way up! This montage captures the energy of a gym session, with athletes working on single-leg strength, back extensions, and heavy deadlifts.

Here we come! A dynamic clip showing the diverse training environments we use, from on-field drills and gym lifts to recovery sessions in the pool.

A game day minus one session, where the focus is on feeling good and powerful. This clip shows athletes performing dumbbell presses and bicep curls, maintaining muscle activation without causing fatigue.

A showdown focused on the posterior chain, with athletes performing explosive jumps and mobility stretches. A strong posterior chain is the engine for most athletic movements.

A montage of a preparatory camp for the Ranji Trophy season, showing the team engaged in mobility work and on-field agility drills.

Seizing every opportunity to train. This clip shows a mix of outdoor Olympic lifting, plyometric jumps in an unconventional space, and staying focused in the hotel gym.

About this collection

You won’t always have a pristine gym setup. Whether we are training in a high-end facility or squeezing in a session at a hotel gym during an away series, the objective remains constant: load, velocity, and stimulus. We focus on adapting to the environment without compromising the biological requirements of your training block.

Success on the field is rarely about a single perfect lift. It is about what happens when you are tired, when you are traveling, and when you have to train in a hotel room with just dumbbells. My approach prioritizes training the athlete to be antifragile.

The Science of Adaptation

Assessment is an ongoing process. We don't just measure your vertical jump once and call it a day; we look for patterns in your movement that tell a bigger story. When working with athletes during long competitive seasons, like the Ranji Trophy, we use Game Day Priming. This is not about building new muscle or burning out the CNS (Central Nervous System). The goal is to keep you sharp, mobile, and responsive.

Training Anywhere

I teach athletes that the equipment matters less than the intention behind the movement.

  • Low-Level Plyometrics: Essential for rhythm and tendon stiffness, these can be done on any patch of grass.
  • Velocity Based Training (VBT): Even with minimal kit, we focus on the speed of the bar, not just the weight on it.
  • Mobility as Prep: Using ELDOA and myofascial release, we manage joint health so you are ready for the next match, not just the next workout.

If you are an athlete, you need a coach who understands that your training schedule has to revolve around your game, not the other way around.
