Board & Train: A Cage-Free Social Experience

My board & train program is designed for dogs who thrive in a social, pack-oriented environment. If your pooch loves interacting with other dogs and needs structured, cage-free living while learning essential skills, we might just be the right fit.

A little bit of happy chaos is a good thing. This video shows a few of our guests, Sula, Ronnie, and Snowy, enjoying a good romp both indoors and out. This is what safe socialization looks like in a multi-dog environment.

Mornings at my place are for stretching our legs and getting the energy out. Here you can see a mix of breeds and sizes interacting peacefully. A well-managed pack allows dogs to learn appropriate social cues from one another.

We are always working to make our space bigger and better for the dogs. This video shows our new premises in progress, with plenty of secure, paved, and natural ground for the pack to enjoy.

It’s a small world. This was a heartwarming moment when two old friends, Chika and Jimmy, were reunited by chance during their stay with me. It’s always a joy to see dogs form and maintain friendships here.

A typical sunny day at my facility where the dogs get to run, play, and just be themselves. This is what my cage-free boarding is all about: providing a safe, supervised, and social environment where dogs can thrive. Notice the confident body language, from the playful black pups to the labs just enjoying the sun.

You know you are doing something right when your boarding guests look like they are about to drop a new music album. A well-socialized German Shepherd and a happy black indie dog posing for the camera, comfortable and relaxed in our open hosting environment.

This Golden Retriever and German Shepherd are two of our happy guests. My open hosting system is perfect for extroverted, playful pooches, but it's important to choose a boarding style based on your dog's specific needs, not just your own preferences.

About this collection

Before we book a full board & train residency, every dog must complete a mandatory trial stay. It is non-negotiable, and here is why: an open, cage-free environment isn't for every personality. The trial gives me the space to assess your dog’s stress threshold, temperament, and pack compatibility. It’s the only way to ensure your fur baby is actually thriving, not just tolerating the stay.

My board & train service in Whitefield isn't a kennel. It is a home-like environment where dogs live, eat, and sleep without crates. This is perfect for confident, social dogs, but it requires a very specific approach.

Why the structure matters

I focus on predictable routines and clear boundaries. When a dog knows what to expect, their anxiety levels drop. During their stay, I combine 24/7 supervision with daily active training sessions. We aren't just teaching commands like recall or sit; we are working on the dog's state of mind. Whether we are tackling impulse control or socialization protocols, the goal is always to build a dog that is calm and responsive.

The Kintsugi approach

I don’t believe in 'broken' dogs. Many of the rescues I work with come to me with trauma or behavioral quirks. I apply the philosophy of Kintsugi—fixing the cracks with gold—to help these dogs. Through consistency, trust-building, and low-pressure interactions, we help them become more resilient.

What you get

  • Cage-free living: Your dog has access to the home and yard, just like one of my own.
  • Active training: Multiple short sessions daily to reinforce manners.
  • Socialization: Controlled interactions with balanced 'teacher' dogs to learn proper social cues.
  • Transparency: I keep you updated because I know how hard it is to be away from your pup.

If you are looking for a place where your dog is treated like family and given the guidance they need to succeed, this is it. But remember, the first step is always the trial.

I’m Poulomi, and my philosophy is simple: dogs are pack animals who deserve to act like dogs. I don’t run a kennel; I run a home where your fur baby gets structure, socialization, and plenty of love. It is about mutual respect and doing what is best for the dog, period.
