Pack Life: Natural Dog Socialization & Play
Welcome to the pack. Here, your dawg learns, plays, and thrives in a safe, cage-free home environment where social cues come naturally.
A happy mood is infectious. Watch as the pack enjoys some indoor playtime, chasing and interacting freely. This is a typical scene in my home, where dogs have the space to just be dogs.
Playful interactions are a joy to watch. Here, little Baabu the beagle is learning how to initiate play with Shiro, his bigger buddy. I ensure all interactions are positive and build social confidence.
Learning social cues is an important part of pack life. Shiro patiently teaches Baabu the rules of engagement during their indoor playtime.
A game of chase between a German Shorthaired Pointer and a lively beagle. My spacious indoor area allows for plenty of fun and exercise, even on a rainy day.
Meet two handsome German Shepherds, comfortable and relaxed while posing on the stairs. My home environment allows dogs to feel secure enough to find their own favorite spots to hang out.
Another shot of these two majestic German Shepherds. The one on the right has a classic GSD head tilt, listening intently to the sounds of the house.
A German Shepherd invites a Labrador to play on the sunny rooftop. This is a great example of cross-breed communication and friendship that develops during their stay.
About this collection
Before your pup joins the main pack, I conduct a 60-minute behavioral profile and compatibility test. This isn't just a formality; it ensures that every member of my 'Brat Pack'—from the boisterous youngsters to the gentle seniors—feels completely secure and knows how to communicate, giving them the confidence to just be themselves.
At The Urban Dawg, I believe dogs learn best from their own. Forget sterile kennels or forced interactions. When your dawg stays with me in Tharabanahalli, North Bengaluru, they join a living, breathing pack. My approach to socialization isn't about training commands; it's about managing energy and dynamics so your pup develops healthy social cues organically.
Whether it's a puppy learning bite inhibition from a patient adult or an anxious dog finding comfort in the pack, I’m always supervising, not interfering. We use the open, secure rooftop terrace for high-energy play, which helps dissipate stress before we head indoors for calm, shared downtime. My home is their home—this means no cages, ever. They choose where to nap, who to hang with, and how to spend their afternoon. It’s about freedom, safety, and letting your dog navigate their environment without fear.
The Urban Dawg
I'm Devisri, but in my home, I’m just 'Kahu'—guardian to the Brat Pack. I built this space because I believe our dogs need real choices, not cages, so I’ve created a place where they run free, learn from each other, and simply get to be dogs.
