Real Stories of Rescue and Transformation
Every dog you see here was rescued from the streets, scared and alone. Fostering is the bridge that helped them heal, trust, and finally find a family. See how a little safety changes everything.
This is what it’s all about. We found Luna, a terrified indie puppy, being stoned on the streets. A foster home gave her the safety to heal, play, and learn to trust. This is the magic of second chances that you can be a part of.
Fostering saves lives, especially for dogs like Buddy. A home environment allows us to understand their needs, work on their health, and prepare them for adoption. Without our foster volunteers, we simply couldn't do this.
The smile says it all. This is Maria, a one year old indie girl, with one of our team members. Seeing a rescued dog feel safe and happy with people is the greatest reward. Indie adoptions are always so special.
We also care for dogs with special needs, like Luna, a beautiful 2 year old husky with epilepsy. Fostering a dog like her means providing a stable environment and managing her medication, all with our full support. It's a deeply rewarding experience.
Senior dogs deserve to spend their golden years surrounded by love. This is Karma, a 13 year old lab, resting peacefully with her favorite toy in her foster home after a long and difficult journey. Fostering a senior is an incredible act of kindness.
Don't just take our word for it. Here is a heartfelt testimonial from one of our amazing foster families about their experience with Luna. It truly takes a village to save these precious lives.
Meet Buddy, a handsome retriever with a gentle soul. A clear portrait like this shows his calm and friendly nature. He's a perfect example of the wonderful dogs in our care who are just waiting for a family to call their own.
About this collection
When you foster with us, you are not just providing a roof. You are giving a dog a home environment, not a cage or a kennel. We are firm on our no-kennel policy because these animals need to heal in a space where they can be themselves, free to roam, learn to trust again, and finally understand what it feels like to be safe.
Fostering is the most critical step in a rescue dog's life. We operate differently because we do not have a shelter. Every animal in our care relies entirely on someone opening their doors in Bangalore.
When you foster, you are the person who turns a terrified, abandoned street dog into a confident pet ready for a family. We handle the costs, the vet visits, and the specific diets, but your role is irreplaceable. You provide the normalcy that a shelter simply cannot. You teach them that a human hand is for petting, not hurting. You help them learn house manners, leash walking, and the simple comfort of sleeping on a rug instead of concrete.
The dogs you see here, like Luna or Buddy, are proof of what happens when a community steps up. Some are here for a few weeks while recovering from surgery, while others need long-term love because of chronic issues like epilepsy or age. We are with you through every step, providing medical support, medication schedules, and advice. If you are in Bangalore and have space in your home, you have the power to change a life.
PL Paws
We are a group of volunteers, not a shelter. Every life we save depends on people like you opening their homes to a dog in need.
