We fully cover these expenses, but your primary role is to provide a calm, ground-floor home where they can rest their joints and live out their days in comfort without the stress of a shelter or cage.
Why Senior and Hospice Fostering?
Most rescues in Bangalore operate with kennels, but we don't. We believe that aging dogs or those with terminal conditions deserve a soft bed and a loving family, not a concrete floor. When you sign up for this, you aren't just housing a dog; you are providing the dignity they were denied by their previous owners.
What the Commitment Looks Like
We handle the heavy lifting to ensure you have what you need to care for these seniors:
- Medical & Financial: We cover 100% of vet visits, surgeries, and chronic medication costs.
- Dietary Support: Seniors need soft, digestible food. We reimburse the costs for raw meat and vegetable diets, as we do not allow commercial kibble.
- Guidance: You will never be alone. We provide support for medical emergencies or questions about administering pain relief.
Requirements for Your Home
Because these dogs often have mobility issues, we look for homes that are ground-floor or elevator-accessible. You need to be prepared for the reality of hospice care—this is a commitment to seeing them through their final journey with love. If you have a quiet spot and a big heart, you have everything you need to start.
