Transparent Fund Appeals for Our Rescue Dogs
We are a 100% volunteer-led group. We rely entirely on community support to cover urgent medical bills for our rescues in Bengaluru.
A fund appeal for Buddy's ongoing heart medications. We still had pending bills to clear for this sweet boy. If just 9 people could donate 1k each, we could cover his costs.
Buddy and his favorite penguin toy. While he enjoys his time in foster care, we continue to raise funds for his homeopathy, supplements, and vet consultations.
Luna and her foster sister Zola on a trip. Even while our dogs are having fun, the bills keep coming. We needed to raise over 13,000 rupees for Luna's epilepsy management.
About this collection
Every rescue in our care—like Buddy managing his heart condition or Luna dealing with epilepsy—comes with mounting medical costs that we cannot cover alone. We operate with full financial transparency, meaning when we ask for funds, we share the vet invoices and specific medication requirements, because we believe you deserve to see exactly where your money goes to help us save a life.
How Your Donations Save Lives
We don't maintain a shelter, so every rupee raised goes directly to the immediate care of the dogs in our foster network. Our fund appeals aren't for facility overheads; they are for:
- Diagnostics & Treatment: Covering the costs of MRIs, CT scans, and necessary surgeries like amputations or tumor removals.
- Chronic Medication: Ensuring dogs like Buddy get their heart supplements and homeopathy, and dogs like Luna receive their epilepsy management meds on time.
- Essential Nutrition: Funding fresh, meat-based diets for recovering rescues who cannot thrive on kibble.
The 'Takes a Village' Approach
We often run campaigns where we ask if 9 or 13 people can donate a specific small amount. This isn't random; it is calculated based on pending vet invoices. We believe that when a community bands together, large medical bills become manageable.
If you are donating, please know that we keep our social media updated with every expense. If you have questions about a specific invoice or the medical protocol we are following for a dog, feel free to ask. We prefer clarity over guesswork, as it helps us build trust with the people who make our work possible.
PL Paws
We are a team of volunteers, not a facility, so every dog depends on us getting the community together to cover costs that often run into thousands. We don't have corporate funding; we have you. Helping us with these bills is the only reason we are able to take in critical medical cases.
