About Support Our Mission: How You Can Help
Right now, our kitchen prepares meals for over 600 animals every single day. A direct donation toward a day's feed ensures that every puppy, senior dog, and cat under our care gets a nutritious meal without us having to worry about where the next sack of rice comes from.
Managing a shelter that is often at 175% capacity means our expenses are constant and, frankly, overwhelming. We often have to say 'jaaga illa' (no space) when we are full, which is heartbreaking. Your support allows us to focus our limited resources where they matter most: on trauma care and daily survival.
How Your Contribution Works
- Meal Sponsorship: Feeding 600+ animals is a 24/7 operation. By sponsoring a single day of meals, you provide the energy our rescues need to heal.
- Critical Care Fund: Many of our animals come to us with severe injuries, abandonment trauma, or needing complex surgeries. Contributions here go directly to medical supplies, surgeries, and vaccinations.
- Essential Supplies: We constantly need durable bowls, grooming gear, and bedding. Donating these items through our wishlist prevents the need to divert cash funds away from medical treatment.
Tax Benefits
As a registered charitable trust, your financial contributions are eligible for 80G tax exemption receipts. We encourage you to reach out if you are planning a large donation so we can ensure you receive the proper documentation before the financial year ends. Every rupee you contribute is a step toward a safer street environment for Bangalore's Indies.
