Cherished Details: Capturing Your Baby’s Tiny Milestones
Babies grow so quickly, and the smallest things—a tiny hand grasping a finger or the delicate texture of a knitted bonnet—are often the memories you'll want to hold onto most. I love to slow down and focus on these quiet, intimate details.

The perfect, tiny feet of a one-month-old baby. I always make sure to capture these details before they grow so quickly.

About Cherished Details
When I shoot, I’m not just looking for the posed portrait; I’m hunting for the textures—the way a newborn’s skin folds, the grip of a tiny hand, or the fuzz on a knitted bonnet. These sessions work best when we move slowly, letting your baby lead the pace so I can capture those quiet, fleeting details that look like art because they are so deeply, honestly yours.
We live in a world that moves fast, but newborns move even faster. The tiny, curled-up feet you see today change within weeks, and that is exactly why I dedicated a part of my work to 'Cherished Details.' This isn't about perfectly posed, stiff photography; it is about the tactile, emotional markers of these early months.
When I come to your home, I bring my gear, but I also bring a lot of patience. Whether I am using my vintage FED-5 film camera to add that raw, grainy texture to a black and white shot of your baby’s toes, or using digital lenses to capture the light on a soft cheek, my process is designed to be unobtrusive. I work around your baby's schedule—feeding, soothing, and sleeping—because the best photos happen when you and your little one are comfortable in your own space.
I encourage parents to look closely at these images. That bracelet you see on their wrist? It is part of the story. The way they clutch a wooden toy? That is their personality beginning to bloom. My goal is to zoom in on the things you might forget in the exhaustion and joy of new parenthood, so you can hold onto them long after your baby has outgrown those tiny, perfect clothes.
