About Behind the Moments
Many parents worry their living room isn't ready for a professional shoot, but I bring the studio to you. Whether it is clearing a corner for a backdrop or waiting for the perfect window light, we work with the space you have to make it comfortable for your baby. You do not need to pack up and travel, which helps keep everyone, especially newborns, much more relaxed.
It Is a Team Effort
My sessions are not about stiff posing or perfect silence. When your toddler is bouncing off the walls or your baby is fussy, we do not stop. We pivot. You might find yourself dancing, singing, or playing peek-a-boo behind my camera, and that is exactly how we get those genuine, belly-laugh expressions. I embrace the chaos because that is where the real life happens.
The Home Studio Setup
When I come to your home, I arrive with everything needed for a professional result without the sterile feel. This includes portable heaters for newborn temperature control, seamless paper backdrops, and hand-selected props. If you prefer a lifestyle shoot, I leave the heavy gear behind and focus entirely on natural interactions—your couch, your nursery, and the light coming through your windows.
Why Film Matters
For families who choose the hybrid package, I bring along my vintage FED-5 Soviet film camera. It forces us to slow down. There is no instant screen check, just the moment itself. The resulting grain and subtle blur are not flaws; they are the texture of a memory. Whether we are in a lush park like Cubbon or your own living room, my goal is to give you photos that feel like how the day actually felt.
