About Splash & Play Sessions
I bring the galvanized tub, baby-safe bubbles, and waterproof floor protection to your home, so you do not have to worry about the mess. These sessions are part of a 2.5-hour milestone shoot, allowing us to go at your baby's pace—if they need a break to feed or get comfortable, we simply take it.
A splash session is more than just a photo; it is a rite of passage for your baby, usually around that 6 to 12-month mark when they are sitting up, giggling, and constantly curious. It is often the highlight of a milestone or first birthday shoot because there is no pressure to pose. The goal is simple: I set up the tub, add a few baby-safe bubbles, and we wait for the reaction.

- The Comfort Factor: Your home is the only place your baby truly knows. By bringing the setup to you—the tub, the backdrop, the props—I remove the stress of travel and new environments, meaning your baby settles in faster.
- Managing the Mess: Yes, there will be water on the floor. That is the point. I come prepared with professional-grade floor protection mats to keep your home safe, so you can focus on the laughter, not the cleanup.
- The Workflow: This session is part of my In-Home Milestone and Cake Smash package. We start with portraits, move to the milestone set, and finish with the splash. It is a natural flow that keeps the baby engaged without them getting overstimulated.
What You Get
These sessions are designed for flexibility. Whether your baby is a natural splash-expert or needs a little encouragement from you, we will get the shot. I provide the galvanized tub, bubble solution, and curated props. All you need to provide is the cake (if we are doing a smash) and a sense of humor. The final delivery includes 25-30 retouched images that highlight the chaotic, sweet reality of your baby's personality.
