About this collection
While my studio sessions use clean backdrops and professional lighting, it is not about forcing your pet to sit still. If your dog prefers to lay flat or your cat is a bit cautious in new spaces, that is exactly what I aim to capture. I bring plenty of treats, toys, and patience to ensure your pet feels comfortable, resulting in timeless portraits that highlight their unique character rather than just a pretty background.
Why Choose a Studio Session?
Some pet parents worry that a studio environment feels too formal, but my goal is the opposite. These sessions are perfect for freezing time, highlighting specific quirks, and creating art-quality prints for your home. By removing the distractions of an outdoor location, we focus entirely on the connection and the unique character of your pet.
The Experience
I keep the setup simple—solid backdrops, studio lights, and the floor space your pet needs to move. Whether it is a senior dog who prefers to lounge or a high-energy pup who cannot sit still, I adapt to them. I have a dedicated assistant to help with handling and squeaky toys or high-value treats to catch that elusive tongue-out moment or a perfectly timed head tilt.
What You Get
Every studio session is designed around comfort and quality. We take 60 to 90 minutes, meaning we do not rush the process. If your pet needs a break to sniff around or just wants a belly rub halfway through, we take it. You get a private gallery to select your favorites, ensuring you only walk away with images that capture your pet exactly as you know them at home.
Studio Tips for Pet Parents
- Bring their favorite toy: A familiar smell helps them settle into the new space quickly.
- Stay relaxed: If you are nervous, your pet will feel it. I am here to keep things fun, not pressured.
- Come as you are: You are welcome to be in the photos too, or just sit back and watch the magic happen.
