Studio sessions are different from outdoor park photos. We take our time with acclimatization in our Kadugodi studio, ensuring your pet is relaxed and comfortable before we start shooting. When they feel at ease, that is when we catch the expressions that make you smile every time you look at the frame.
People often ask why I prefer a studio setting over an outdoor shoot for these classic portraits. It comes down to control and character. In our Kadugodi setup, there are no distractions. There are no squirrels to chase or loud traffic to worry about. It is just us, the props, and your pet.
Using the Sony a7iii with animal eye detection, I make sure the focus is razor-sharp on their eyes, even if they are wiggling around. Those eyes are the windows to their soul, after all. Whether it is a Frenchie or a Husky, the goal is a painterly, fine-art look that belongs on a wall, not just a phone screen.
We keep the environment climate-controlled and quiet. If your dog is anxious, we slow down. We have worked with pets of all temperaments, and the one thing they all have in common is that they need a little time to trust the lens. We provide that space. By stripping away busy backgrounds, we leave nothing but your pet's unique features.
