Whether it's for joint recovery, weight management, or just burning off energy, our controlled hydrotherapy sessions provide a safe, low-impact workout for your dog.
Hydrotherapy is an amazing tool for rehabilitation and exercise. Here, I'm supporting a Boxer in the water, helping him move his limbs freely to build strength without any impact on his joints.
A beautiful shot of a Boxer enjoying his hydrotherapy session. The water supports his body, allowing for pain-free movement, which is especially beneficial for dogs with arthritis or mobility issues.

Look at the calm expression on this Boxer's face. While the initial moments can be new, dogs quickly learn to enjoy the soothing and supportive feeling of the water.
This video shows a full hydrotherapy session, from gently introducing the dog to the water to the owner's happy encouragement from the side. It's a team effort to make the dog feel comfortable and safe.
This senior Labrador is benefiting immensely from hydrotherapy. The life jacket provides extra buoyancy and security, allowing him to enjoy a gentle swim that soothes his old joints and keeps him active.
About Swimming & Hydrotherapy Sessions
A common question I get is whether a dog needs to be a natural swimmer to start hydrotherapy. The truth is, I am in the water with them for every session. Whether I am supporting a senior Labrador with arthritis or helping a high-energy Boxer improve his range of motion, my focus is on guiding them through each movement to ensure they feel secure and build confidence in the water.
Swimming is more than just fun for dogs—it is one of the most effective ways to manage their health without putting stress on their joints. At our Gurgaon and Chattarpur farms, we use the pool as a tool for recovery and fitness.
Why Hydrotherapy Matters
For many dogs, especially seniors suffering from arthritis or those recovering from injuries, land-based exercise can be painful. The water provides buoyancy, which supports their body weight, allowing them to move their limbs freely. This builds muscle tone and improves cardiovascular health without the impact of running on hard ground.
My Hands-On Approach
I do not just watch from the sidelines. I am in the pool with your pet to ensure they are safe and comfortable. We use a step-by-step approach:
- Initial Assessment: We look at your dog's comfort level with water.
- Support: For dogs that are new to swimming or lack confidence, we use life jackets to provide extra buoyancy and security.
- Controlled Movement: I guide them through the water to ensure they are using their muscles correctly rather than just splashing around.
Whether you have an active breed that needs to burn off energy or a senior dog that needs gentle joint support, our sessions are tailored to what your dog actually needs. Please note that sessions are weather-dependent to ensure it is safe and comfortable for your bachhe.
