Behavioral Training & Obedience Programs
I see behavior as a way your dog communicates. My training focuses on understanding these cues to build a balanced, happy companion through positive reinforcement, whether it is basic puppy obedience or managing complex behavioral issues.
During a group training session, I work on maintaining focus amidst distractions. Here, a Golden Retriever and a Border Collie are learning to stay engaged with me, a skill that translates to better behavior in public spaces.
Teaching a dog to jump for a toy isn't just play; it's a controlled exercise in motivation and command. This Golden Retriever is learning to channel its excitement into a specific action, which is a great foundation for agility training.
Look at the focus from this Beagle. Even with other dogs around, it is learning to wait its turn. This kind of group obedience training teaches patience and social manners, which are vital for a multi-pet household or visits to a dog park.
A quiet moment of connection with Bira, an Indie dog, during his stay. Building a bond based on trust is the first step before any formal training begins. Every dog needs to feel safe to be able to learn effectively.
Here I am with siblings Bira and Nitro. Working with multiple dogs from the same family requires understanding their unique dynamic. My training approach is always customized to the individual personalities and needs of each dog.
This is a great example of advanced focus training. This Border Collie is holding a perfect 'jump' position, waiting for the command. This level of impulse control is what we strive for in our board and train programs.
A simple 'sit' and 'look' command is the cornerstone of a good relationship with your dog. It establishes you as the leader and teaches your dog to look to you for guidance. Here, a Golden Retriever demonstrates perfect attention.
A typical training moment at the farm. Multiple dogs, all focused and waiting for the next instruction. This structured environment helps them learn to be calm and obedient even when surrounded by the excitement of other dogs.
In this short clip, you can see me giving commands to a group. Notice how the Golden Retriever sits and waits patiently. This is the result of consistent, positive reinforcement training that we practice daily.
This Rottweiler is learning the 'up' or 'namaste' command. It's a fun trick, but it also reinforces the dog's ability to listen and respond to specific cues. Training should always have an element of fun to keep the dog engaged.
About Behavioral Training & Obedience
Training isn't just about teaching commands inside a sterile room. Real progress happens in an open environment where your dog learns to focus amidst the distractions of a real farm setting, whether it is the excitement of other dogs or the allure of our swimming pool.
Understanding Your Dog's Needs
When a dog chews shoes or barks non-stop, it is usually them telling us that something is missing—often energy, comfort, or mental stimulation. At Pet Lovers Hut, located in Sector 63A, Gurugram, and Chattarpur, I treat every dog as an individual. We don't believe in 'fixing' a dog; we believe in balancing them.
Our Training Approach
Whether you are looking for basic obedience or need help with behavioral challenges like separation anxiety, aggression, or leash pulling, our programs are designed to create a lasting transformation.
- Residential Board and Train: A 30-day program at our farm facility. This is an immersive experience where your dog stays with us, receiving 24/7 care, structured walks, and consistent training in a controlled environment.
- Behavioral Consultations: If you prefer to handle training at home, I teach you how to read your dog’s body language and address specific issues, ensuring you become the leader your dog needs.
- Puppy Obedience: Setting the foundation early is crucial. We focus on the 7 core commands—Sit, Down, Stay, Shake Hand, Recall, No, and Leave it—to give your puppy a head start in social manners.
Why the Farm Environment Matters
Distraction proofing is the key to obedience. By training in our open fields, your dog learns to hold a 'stay' or 'heel' even when they want to chase a ball or explore the grass. We combine these sessions with agility work and playtime, ensuring your bachha (child) doesn't just learn to obey, but actually enjoys the process.
If you are worried about your dog’s social awkwardness or excessive energy, come visit us. We will assess your dog and create a routine that brings out their best version.
Pet Lovers Hut
I'm Kuldeep, and I believe every dog deserves to be understood, not just corrected. I spend my days working directly with your *bachhe* at my farm-style retreat in Gurugram, making sure they feel safe and confident enough to learn.
