Dog Behavior and Training

Core Training Scope

• Lead Oversight: Program designed and monitored by lead behaviorist.
• Behavior Correction: Addresses aggression (food, dog, human), excessive barking, leash pulling, and separation anxiety.
• Structured Walks: Two 45 minute leash walks daily to establish hierarchy.
• Pack Socialization: Controlled exposure to other dogs to fix social awkwardness.

Accommodation & Routine

• Farm Stay: 24/7 stay at the farm facility in Gurugram or Chattarpur.
• Housing: Individual tiled kennel with iron grill gates; cooled by industrial desert coolers.
• Meals: 2 fresh meals daily consisting of home cooked chicken/rice/veg and kibble.
• Hygiene: Weekly bath, tick/flea check, and daily brushing.

Physical Activities

• Open Field: 3 to 4 hours of off leash time in large grassy lawns.
• Agility Work: Use of tire jumps and hurdles to build drive.
• Swimming: 1 to 2 sessions per week in the outdoor tiled pool (weather permitting).

Handover

• Updates: Periodic WhatsApp video updates on progress.
• Transfer Session: Mandatory 1 to 2 hour session with the owner at the end to transfer commands.

The Curriculum

• 7 Core Commands: Covers Sit, Down, Shake Hand, Stay, Recall (Come), No, and Leave it.
• Leash Walking: Instruction on the Heel command to prevent pulling.
• Distraction Proofing: Practicing commands in an open farm environment with noise and other dogs.

Session Details

• Duration: 20 to 24 sessions total, with each session lasting 45 to 60 minutes.
• Methodology: Balanced approach using food motivation and necessary corrections.
• Trainer: Conducted by senior handlers under lead guidance.

Session Add Ons

• Playtime: 15 to 20 minutes of open lawn play after training.
• Desensitization: Exposure to farm sounds and pool deck areas to build confidence.
• Reporting: Video snippets sent to demonstrate learned behaviors.
