From custom t-shirts to water bottle decals, we use vinyl cutting to help you put your mark on anything. If you can design it, we can help you cut it and stick it.

Watch the full process of creating a custom pouch for our vinyl cutter, Sita Lakshmi. From designing the text in the software to cutting the vinyl and ironing it on, this is how we make personalized items.

After four years, it was time for a bottle refresh. I used our vinyl cutter to create a new silver decal with our lab's name and motto, "teach, make, and learn," giving my old water bottle a brand new look.

A custom cat-themed t-shirt, made with our vinyl cutter, hanging in the lab. This is a great example of the personalized apparel we can help you create, whether it's for yourself, your team, or as a gift.

A quick look at our vinyl decal mug workshop. Participants designed their own custom graphics, which were then cut from vinyl and applied to create personalized mugs to take home.

Even our coffee kettle gets a custom touch. We used our vinyl cutter to add this "For the love of coffee" decal, showing that you can personalize almost any smooth surface.

A fun penguin decal we made with our vinyl cutter, peeking over the machine itself. We love adding these little touches of personality around the lab.

About this collection

We use high-quality heat-transfer vinyl for apparel and adhesive decals for hard surfaces. Since we handle the machine prep and weeding for you, you don't need to be a pro to get a clean result. Just keep in mind that our vinyl setup works best for solid colors, sharp text, and clean icons, so it's not the right fit for complex photo prints or intricate gradients.

How We Make It Happen

At our Indiranagar lab, we use a Silhouette Cameo to bring your ideas to life. Whether you want to refresh an old water bottle, add a brand logo to your coffee mug, or create a unique graphic for a t-shirt, the process is pretty straightforward.

For Apparel: We use heat-transfer vinyl (HTV). You bring us your design—stick to simple, solid-color graphics or text—and we handle the software preparation, the cutting, the weeding (removing the negative space), and the heat press application. Because we want your stuff to last, we use vinyl rated for 20-30 washes. Just remember to wash your shirts inside out to keep the design looking sharp.

For Decals: We can create adhesive vinyl stickers for smooth, hard surfaces like laptops, notebooks, and water bottles. It’s a great way to add a bit of personality to things you use every day.

Before You Reach Out

  • Design Files: If you have a specific logo or font in mind, having it as a vector file or a clean black-and-white image makes the setup much faster.
  • Material Limits: Our vinyl machines are wizards for shapes, text, and icons, but they aren't printers. We cannot print full-color photographs or gradients. If your design idea is super complex, let’s chat first to see how we can simplify it for the cutter.
  • Hands-on Learning: If you'd rather learn the process than just order the final product, ask us about our upcoming workshops. We love teaching people how to navigate Silhouette Studio and run the vinyl cutter themselves.
