Wood Polish & Refinishing
Surface Preparation
- Scraping: Removal of old varnish or paint using manual scrapers or glass pieces to expose raw wood.
- Sanding: 3-step manual sanding process (Course to Fine grit) for a smooth base.
- Crack Filling: Filling minor cracks and nail holes with wood-filler putty matched to the wood tone.
Application & Finish
- Staining: Optional application of wood stain to adjust color tone.
- Sealer Coat: Application of 1-2 coats of sanding sealer to close pores.
- Top Coat: Application of Melamine or PU (Polyurethane) topcoat (Matte to Glossy).
- Technique: Hand application (rag pad) or Spray gun depending on material selection.
Operational Details
- Protection: Masking adjacent walls and floors with newspapers and tape.
- Hardware: Masking door handles and locks (digital lock removal excluded).
- Cleanup: Dry cleanup of sanding dust from the immediate area.
Cabinet & Furniture Repainting
Preparation & Repair
- Degreasing: Chemical cleaning to remove oil and grime deposits.
- Surface Leveling: Application of putty or auto-body filler to hide wood grain for a smooth look.
- Priming: Application of surfacer or wood primer for paint adhesion.
Painting Process
- Material: NC (Nitrocellulose) paints or Premium Satin Enamel.
- Coats: 2 coats of base primer plus 2-3 coats of top finish paint.
- Finish: Choice of High Gloss or Satin (Semi-gloss).
- Application: Spray painting using a compressor or brush application.
Scope & Site Prep
- Scope: Covers visible external surfaces only (internal laminate or shelves excluded).
- Hardware: Masking of hinges and handles.
- Protection: Extensive masking of the room with drop cloths to contain spray mist.
Metal Grill & Gate Painting
Rust Removal & Prep
- Scrubbing: Manual wire brushing and sanding to remove loose rust and flaking paint.
- Washing: Cleaning the grill to remove sanding dust.
- Anti-Rust Treatment: Application of one coat of Red Oxide Metal Primer.
Painting & Detailing
- Paint Type: High-gloss synthetic Enamel paint (Oil-based).
- Coats: 2 coats of top finish paint.
- Colors: Standard Black, Brown, or Grey options.
- Detailing: Basic Gold or Silver highlighting included for ornate gates in higher price range.

- Method: Brush application to prevent wastage.
- Surroundings: Masking window glass and adjacent walls.
- Lubrication: Oiling of gate hinges after painting to ensure smooth movement.
