Commercial Interior Repainting
Material & Application
- Paint Grade: Asian Paints Premium Emulsion (or equivalent commercial grade) in matte or soft-sheen finish.
- Coats: 2 finishing coats of emulsion.
- Priming: 1 coat water-based cement primer (Spot priming only).
- Prep: Machine or hand sanding to remove loose particles and acrylic putty filling for hairline cracks.
Execution & Protection
- Floor Protection: Standard blue tarpaulin sheets or drop cloths.
- Masking: Tape application on skirting boards, switchboards, and frames for clean edges.
- Tools: Manual application with 9-inch rollers; extension poles used for ceilings up to 12 feet.
Labor
- Team: 1 Supervisor and 2-3 Painters.
- Timing: Execution during standard working hours only.
Exterior Facade Painting: Rope Access
Paint System
- Material: Asian Paints Apex or Apex Ultima (Dust and Weather Resistant).
- Layers: 1 coat Exterior Primer followed by 2 coats Exterior Emulsion.
- Crack Repair: Application of specialized exterior crack paste (e.g., SmartCare) for hairline fractures.
- Cleaning: Wire brushing and anti-algal wash for moss or damp areas.
Access Method
- Technique: Manual Rope Access (Jhula). Note: Does not include metal scaffolding or automated cradles.
- Height Capability: Suitable for G+5 to G+10 structures.
- Safety: Includes industrial-grade harnesses and double-rope safety lines.
Preparation
- Surface Prep: High-pressure water wash (if source provided) or vigorous manual wire brushing.
- Texture: Preserves existing exterior texture; does not include creating new texture.
