Hand-drawn portraits hold a special kind of warmth. Using classic graphite pencils, I capture the expressions and memories that matter most to you. Aaram se dekho, and let's bring your favourite photo to life.

A finished A4 graphite sketch capturing a warm, gentle smile. The soft shading in the background helps the portrait stand out, and I paid close attention to the fabric details of her saree.

It’s always a joy to see a happy client with their finished artwork. Here, she holds the framed graphite sketch I created for her.

This detailed pencil sketch was for a Mother's Day contest winner. I loved capturing the intricate design of her saree's border and her serene expression.

A closer look at the finished graphite sketch where I merged two separate childhood photos. The challenge was to make them look like they were always in the same picture, and I'm so happy with the result.

Watch as a blank paper turns into a realistic pencil portrait. This video shows the sketching process, from the initial outlines to the final shading that gives the hair and face dimension and life.

About Classic Graphite Sketches

Before I start the final shading, I always share the work-in-progress with you. This isn't just to show you how the portrait is coming along, but to make sure every little detail—from the expression in the eyes to the drape of a saree—feels exactly right to you. You are part of the process, ensuring the final result is just how you imagined it.

When you opt for a classic graphite sketch, you aren't just ordering a drawing. You are choosing a timeless, monochrome capture of a moment. I use high-grade graphite pencils ranging from H to 8B, which allows me to create deep, realistic contrasts and soft textures that standard pencils just cannot achieve.

Each piece is drawn on premium 200+ GSM acid-free paper. This isn't just about durability; it ensures the artwork doesn't yellow or degrade over time, keeping your gift fresh for years to come. Whether it is a single individual, a couple, or a composite piece—where I merge separate photos to bring family members together into one frame—I focus on the emotional likeness, not just the physical one.

Every order is treated with care. Once finished, I apply a matte fixative spray to prevent graphite smudging. I then ship it in a clear protective sleeve, sandwiched between hard cardboard sheets to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. If you have a specific photo in mind, or perhaps an old memory you want reimagined as a clean, sharp sketch, send it over. I am here to help you turn those digital memories into a tangible keepsake.

Hello! I believe that art is the best way to pause time. I started my journey with a simple sketch of my grandparents, and that same feeling of love and patience is what I pour into every piece I draw for you.
