This is why I do what I do. Taking a faded, black and white photograph, the only proof of a precious memory, and giving it the color and life it deserves on canvas. It takes a lot of patience, but seeing an ancestor come back to life like this is an emotional journey I am honored to take with a family.
A close-up of a finished 24" x 30" acrylic portrait. I focused on capturing the warmth in her eyes and the gentle smile. The details in her saree and the traditional gold jewelry were painted with many layers to give them a realistic, textured feel.
This is the best part of my work. Seeing the pure, emotional reaction when someone receives a hand-drawn portrait of themselves is a feeling I can't describe. It makes all the hours of detailed sketching completely worth it. Her happiness is my biggest reward.
A vibrant 20" x 20" custom acrylic painting for a couple. I used a rich, blended background to make their portraits pop, capturing their happy expressions and the textures of their clothing. This kind of personalized artwork makes for a truly special anniversary or wedding gift.
Pucho kyu this is special? A client asked if I could merge two separate childhood photos into a single couple sketch. Of course, I said yes! This video shows how I combined the two images to create one beautiful memory on paper, a unique keepsake shipped all the way to a client in Canada.

Restoring Old Memories
Many of you send me old, faded black and white photos of your grandparents. I love the challenge of colorizing them. It is an emotional process, especially when merging multiple images into one group portrait. Giving history a new life is why I do what I do.
My Process
Every piece starts with a detailed pencil sketch, even for paintings. For acrylics, I build layers to capture the depth of skin tones and the shimmer of jewelry. For graphite, I focus on light and shadow to create that timeless, realistic look. I always share work-in-progress photos so you are part of the journey.
Ordering and Materials
I use gallery-wrapped canvas for my acrylic work and premium acid-free paper for my sketches. I ship across India and even abroad. If you have an anniversary or birthday coming up, just let me know early so I can dedicate the right amount of time to your piece.
