About Seasonal Karate Camps
What These Camps Are All About
Every vacation, I see kids come in with energy to spare. Our seasonal karate camps are where that energy gets shaped. It's not just about fancy moves or shouting loud - I want kids to walk away stronger, more focused, and ready for anything. The camp feels like a mix of challenge, fun, and real martial arts.
What We Train (and Why Kids Love It)
- Karate basics and sports karate, blended to keep sessions exciting
- Kata (forms) and Kumite (sparring) for balance of skill and speed
- Self-defense drills - this is big, because I want kids to feel safe outside camp
- Agility, stretching, and fitness work
- Okinawan kobudo (traditional weapons) - beginners get a taste, nothing scary!
- Freestyle acrobatics - they all want to flip and jump, so we make it safe
More Than Just Kicks and Punches
For me, karate is about who you become, not just what you can do. I focus on:
- Confidence that shows up everywhere, not just on the mat
- Good habits like listening, respect, and sticking to routines
- Safety awareness, especially for young kids
What Happens After?
Every kid gets a certificate at the end of the summer karate camp for kids. If someone really shines, they can try a belt test and see how far they've come. Camps are for ages 4 and up, with special sessions for the little ones - even Nursery and LKG kids fit right in.
Camps run weekday mornings, so kids get a routine and still have the rest of the day free.

My Story
Hey, we’re OSK Academy. Been at this karate game for 30+ years, but every day’s fresh. Our chief, Renshi Sajesh, just got WKF coach creds in UAE - big deal for us! Nothing beats seeing a little one go from shy to bold, or handing out a new belt. Gold medals? Sure, but it’s all about Team OSK, every student matters, no matter their age or skill.
My Work
Karate & Martial Arts Training - We teach Okinawa Shorin-Ryu, sports karate, kata, kumite, judo, kobudo, and freestyle acrobatics.
Kids & Adult Classes - Kids karate classes start from age 4; adults (ladies and gents) join anytime. Beginners and advanced, all welcome.
Personal Training & Self-Defense - Personal sessions available, plus self-defense for women and fitness-focused batches.
Progress & Competitions - Regular belt grading, and we host national karate championships so students can show what they’ve got.
Our Way - It’s not just fighting. Discipline, respect, confidence - that’s our thing. Safe, supportive vibe always.
