I create playful, one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces in my North Bangalore studio. From hand-painted coasters to whimsical bookends, each item is made without molds, ensuring your home decor has personality.

This video shows a set of 105 individually hand painted ceramic coasters I created for a wedding gift. Each coaster has a completely unique floral design, making it a true labor of love. I believe in making gifts that are personal and filled with the happiness I felt while creating them.

Here is a closer look at my handmade and hand painted floral ceramic coasters. I create them in a wide range of colors and flower types, from bright yellow sunflowers to deep red poppies. They are perfect for gifting and can be customized for special occasions.

These hand painted ceramic coasters are ready to be packed up for Christmas and New Year gifting. I can create custom sets based on your color preferences or favorite flowers. A set of these makes a wonderful and unique handmade gift.

A close up view of my floral coasters, showing the variety of hand painted designs. I never repeat a design, so each coaster is a miniature piece of art. They are a great way to add a touch of handmade beauty to your home.

These bookends are a combination of my ceramic sculptures and hand painted wood. I created a quirky parrot, a gentle elephant, and a wise owl to add some personality to your bookshelf. These make for a unique and functional decor accessory.

I love the cheerful sound of ceramic bells. This video shows a variety of my handmade and hand painted bells, each with a different pattern. They are a perfect decor accessory for a balcony, garden, or window, and make for a lovely, unique gift.

My handmade ceramic flowers can be used in so many ways. Here, they are displayed in traditional wooden serveware, but they can also be used to create murals, decorate tables, or as individual decorative pieces. Each flower is shaped and painted by hand.

I can make flowers of all kinds. This video shows a variety of my ceramic flowers, from colorful roses to bright sunflowers and wildflowers. These can be commissioned for murals, as part of a centerpiece, or as individual gifts.

This video shows the process of painting one of my ceramic butterflies. I first apply a bright base color and then hand paint the delicate floral patterns on the wings. These butterflies are perfect for adding a whimsical touch to a wall mural or a child's room.

Here I am using the sgraffito technique to etch intricate details onto the wings of a large ceramic butterfly. This piece will become a beautiful piece of wall decor. I enjoy creating these nature inspired ceramic art pieces.

About Quirky Gifts & Home Accents

Since I do not use molds, every ceramic piece here carries its own subtle, human-made variation. When you choose a hand-painted coaster or an animal bookend, you are picking up a durable, high-fire stoneware piece that has been individually etched and painted in my studio, not something stamped out by a machine.

My approach to home decor is simple: I believe objects should tell a story. Whether it is a set of coasters featuring hand-painted floral motifs or a ceramic bell that actually rings, everything I create is designed to add a bit of color and quirk to your daily life.

The Process Behind the Pieces Everything you see here is hand-built or thrown by me. I use high-fire stoneware clay, which means these pieces are durable enough for daily use, not just for display. For my signature pieces, I use a sgraffito technique, where I carve designs into layers of color, allowing the detail to last as long as the clay itself. It is a slow process, but it ensures that the floral patterns or animal figures you see won't fade or peel.

Gifting with Meaning Many of my clients come to me looking for gifts that don't feel transactional. Because I can customize colors, names, and even hidden messages on items like mugs or nameplates, a gift from my studio is often the most personal one at the table. If you are looking for wedding return gifts, a unique housewarming present, or just a character-filled accent for your own bookshelf, I can help you realize that idea.

Why Handmade Matters Handmade ceramics are never factory-perfect. You might notice a slight variation in the glaze or the curve of a handle, but that is exactly what proves it was made by a person, not a factory line. If you are in North Bangalore and want to see how these are fired at 1200°C, you are always welcome to reach out.

I'm the artist behind Oriri Studio, where I turn raw stoneware clay into quirky home accents. I’m obsessed with floral motifs and bold colors, so if you see a piece that speaks to you, it’s probably because I spent hours sketching those petals and etching the details by hand.
