Handmade Ceramic Art and Tableware
Welcome to our studio. This collection captures the range of what we do, from hand-painted plates to unique sculptures, all made right here in our Nagashetty Halli space.
This is a snapshot of the wide variety of handmade ceramics I create. You can see everything from colorful bowls and platters to decorative tiles and even hand painted furniture. If you have an idea, I can likely bring it to life in clay.
A quick look at some of the colorful creations in my studio. This includes abstract poppy flower bowls, hand painted plates, and decorative masks. My work is all about celebrating color, nature, and handmade artistry.
These hand painted floral ceramic plates feature jewel toned colors on a dark background. I love how the colors pop, making each piece feel rich and luxurious. These are one of a kind creations, perfect for display or special occasions.
About More from the Studio
Because we hand-build everything without using molds, every bowl or plate you see here holds slight variations that make it unique to you. When you pick a piece from this collection, you are getting something that spent time in our studio—from the initial clay wedging to the double firing process at 1200°C for long-term durability.
Exploring Our Studio Collection
This gallery is where we show the full breadth of what we make. Beyond the functional tableware, you will find decorative masks, wall art, and smaller accents like wind chimes. Each item starts as a raw piece of stoneware clay. We use hand-building techniques, meaning we shape, etch, and paint every surface manually.
The Sgraffito Technique
Many of our pieces feature Sgraffito, a carving method where we layer colors and scratch the design through to the clay body beneath. It takes patience, but it allows for the intricate, jewel-toned floral and nature patterns you see in our dinnerware and platters. It is not factory work. It is slow, intentional, and results in a tactile surface that feels different in your hands.
Custom Commissions
If you see a style you like but want a different size or color palette, we can work on that. We often create custom nameplates, murals, or dinnerware sets for clients who want something specific to their space. Because every batch is small and handled personally, please share your ideas early so we can discuss the design, firing timelines, and final finishes before we start the clay work.
Oriri Studio
We are Oriri Studio. We love the process of turning a lump of clay into something that brightens up a room, whether it is a tiny wind chime or a large wall mural. Seeing these pieces go to homes where they are actually used—and loved—is the best part of what we do.
