About Custom Wall Murals
My mural process is a collaboration that starts well before the clay reaches the kiln. Since I hand-sculpt every element—from individual petals to birds—I need to work closely with you on your wall dimensions and lighting to ensure the composition is just right for your space. We start with a design consultation and sketches, so please expect a 4 to 6 week timeline from our first chat to the final installation.
How We Design Your Mural
It is not just about buying a piece of decor; it is about building a story on your wall. We begin by discussing your interior style and the overall mood you want to set. Do you prefer a calm, minimalist aesthetic or a vibrant, maximalist statement piece? After we finalize the design sketches, I begin the sculpting phase.
The Craft
I do not use molds. Every piece you see—the texture on a leaf, the curve of a bird's wing—is shaped by hand in my North Bangalore studio. I use high-fire stoneware clay, which makes the pieces durable and long-lasting for indoor use. For that extra bit of magic, I occasionally incorporate recycled glass that melts during the firing process, creating jewel-like textures that catch the light differently throughout the day.
Installation Made Simple
Large-scale art can feel daunting, but I make it manageable. My murals are delivered as a collection of individually numbered ceramic pieces, complete with a detailed layout map. This makes installation straightforward for your local interior contractor or mason. The pieces are mounted securely to ensure they stay on your wall for years to come.
Pricing and Scope
My murals start at ₹4500 per square foot. This price covers the full design consultation, 2 to 3 layout iterations, and the final fired artwork. If you have a specific theme in mind—such as a Tree of Life or a geometric floral pattern—let us discuss how we can bring it to life.
