A curated selection of my most impactful works, showcasing the raw textures, deep contrasts, and emotional energy that define my charcoal practice.

This piece, 'Mighty Rush', captures the explosive energy of a charging bull. I used charcoal on a large 3 by 4 foot linen canvas to bring out the raw power and motion, making it feel as if it could leap from the frame.

Titled 'Riwayat', this 6-foot-wide artwork is my homage to the tradition of Indian classical dance. The focus is on the 'Ghungroo', where every tiny bell is meticulously drawn with charcoal and graphite to represent the dancer's sacred connection to the earth.

'Gajraaj', a majestic elephant portrait on a 40 by 50 inch linen canvas. My goal was to capture the immense presence and detailed texture of this incredible animal, conveying a sense of ancient wisdom and strength.

'The Temptation' is an intimate 18 by 18 inch charcoal and graphite drawing that explores themes of bliss and sensuality. The fine details, from the strands of hair to the texture of the skin, are meant to draw the viewer into a moment of deep emotion.

In 'Harmony', I depicted two horses standing peacefully together on a large 5 by 3 foot archival paper. This piece showcases the graceful anatomy and serene bond between the animals, rendered with detailed charcoal strokes.

This hyperrealistic drawing of a saxophone focuses on the interplay of light and shadow on metal. Created with charcoal on a 21 by 36 inch canvas, it highlights the intricate details of the instrument and the hands that bring it to life.

'Bliss' is a 24 by 24 inch charcoal portrait of Buddha, designed to evoke tranquility and spiritual introspection. The monochromatic tones and soft shadows create a calming presence, perfect for a space of meditation.

A charcoal portrait of the actor Allu Arjun, where I focused on capturing his charisma and expressive smile. The dramatic contrast between light and dark brings a powerful depth to the artwork.

Here I am in my studio with 'Frozen Motion', a large-scale 6 by 4 foot charcoal piece. This image gives a sense of the scale I often work in to create impactful, life-sized equine art.

About Featured

Every original piece I create, whether a massive linen canvas or a detailed graphite sketch, is treated with museum-grade fixative to ensure longevity. When you select an original, you receive it professionally finished with gallery-grade framing, UV-protective glass, and a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

My approach to hyperrealism is rooted in the philosophy of subtraction. By stripping away color, I force the viewer to engage with the raw architecture of the subject—the curve of a muscle, the texture of a leaf, or the subtle weight behind a gaze. This featured collection highlights the diversity of my work, spanning from intimate 18-inch portraits on archival paper to large-scale, 20-square-foot statement pieces on primed linen canvas.

Technical Standards

Whether you are acquiring a limited edition print or an original charcoal drawing, the focus remains on archival quality. My prints utilize 12-color giclee pigment inks on 300 GSM cotton rag paper, ensuring the deep blacks and subtle greys remain vibrant for over a century. For original works, I exclusively use heavyweight, acid-free paper or high-density primed linen to prevent the yellowing and degradation common in lower-quality materials.

Customization and Framing

Presentation is as critical as the drawing itself. My original works are shipped with custom gallery-style framing, typically using black or deep wood box frames that complement the monochrome aesthetic. The glass used is UV-protective to prevent fading, and the matting is strictly acid-free. If you are looking to commission a specific piece or have questions about how a particular size will fit your space, I am available to discuss the specifics of your requirements.
