Our Teaching Philosophy: Why Real Progress Matters
We don’t believe in shortcuts or mass-produced certificates. Music is about the soul, and our approach focuses on genuine skill building through personalized practice.
We don't just hunt for talent, we create it. This video shows a glimpse of our 'NitzKidz' class in Virar, with students practicing on keyboards and guitar. We believe in bouncing back stronger and nurturing every child's potential.
This screenshot shows a hybrid class in action, with an online student from the USA learning alongside our offline students. We use technology to bridge distances and create an inclusive learning environment for everyone.
This is a look at our online teaching setup. With a quality keyboard, laptop, and a stable internet connection, we can provide high-quality music education to our students in Canada, the USA, and across the world. Your dedication is the only limit.

This image details the key signature, notes, and fingering for the C minor scale. Our teaching philosophy emphasizes a deep understanding of music theory, as this is the foundation for true progress and becoming a self-sufficient musician.

Our academy offers a wide range of classes including Classical, Bollywood, and Folk singing, as well as training in guitar, keyboard, and harmonium. This poster highlights our diverse offerings available through both online and offline batches.

About Our Teaching Philosophy: How We Nurture Talent
We keep our batches small (4-8 students) so every single person gets actual attention. Whether you are learning classical Raags in our Kandivali branch or joining our online sessions from the USA, our focus stays on your real-time progress. We provide handwritten notes for theory and ensure you master the fundamentals before moving to songs, making sure you can actually call yourself a musician.
Building Musicians, Not Just Students
Music isn't about collecting certificates or finding the biggest classroom. At Nitz Music Academy, our philosophy is simple: progress over everything. When you learn with us, we don't just teach you songs to memorize. We teach you the language of music.
Why Our Approach Works
- Small Batches: We cap our group sessions at 4-8 students. This isn't about packing the room; it's about making sure I—or one of my instructors—can hear every note you play or sing, correct your posture, and refine your pitch in real-time.
- Theory meets Practice: We blend the best of both worlds. You'll learn Indian Classical (Sargam, Alankars, Raags) alongside Western theory (Solfege, scales, chord progressions). We use handwritten notes and visual aids to make the 'grammar' of music easy to grasp, whether you're 4 or 89.
- The 'No-Shortcut' Method: We don't use auto-tune or gimmicks. You start with the basics—breath control, rhythm (Taal), and pitch correction. Once you master the foundation, we move to your favorite Bollywood, devotional, or pop tracks. It’s hard work, but it’s real.
Accessible Learning
We bridge the distance with a hybrid model. If you are in Mumbai (Kandivali, Malad, Virar, Vasai, Nalasopara, Borivali), our offline classes offer a hands-on environment. If you are abroad or in a different city, our online sessions are designed to feel just as personal. You get the same feedback, the same theory, and the same focus on your growth as any offline student. Music is for everyone, regardless of where you are located.
