Our Commitment to Swimming Safety
Safety is not just a rulebook for us; it is our way of life. From annual CPR retraining to AUSTSWIM certified coaching, here is how we ensure you and your kids are always in safe hands.
A behind the scenes look at our annual First Aid and CPR retraining session for our entire team. We take safety very seriously, and continuous training ensures we are always prepared to handle any emergency.
About this collection
Every single coach and lifeguard on our team goes through mandatory annual CPR and First Aid retraining, not just once at hiring, but every year. We bring in specialists like the Nightingales Medical Trust to run these sessions, ensuring our team is not just certified on paper, but ready to act if a real emergency happens while you are in the water.
In the pool, split seconds matter. That is why we do not just rely on standard lifeguard certification. We treat our team's safety knowledge like a muscle, because it needs regular exercise to stay strong. For 12 years running, I have made it a non-negotiable rule that our entire staff, from lead coaches to deck assistants, participates in a rigorous, hands-on First Aid and CPR workshop. We collaborate with experts like the Nightingales Medical Trust to conduct these sessions, covering everything from pediatric emergency handling to water-based crisis management.
Beyond physical safety, we care about the environment our swimmers train in. We are taking active steps to build a safe, respectful space for everyone by establishing a dedicated POSH committee. With the guidance of legal experts, we are formalizing our internal policies to prevent harassment, ensuring our academy is a safe haven for students of all ages. Whether you are swimming at Basecamp in Palace Road or our heated pools in Koramangala, know that the person watching over you has done the drills, passed the tests, and is ready. Safety is the foundation of our 'Marlins' and 'Jellies' community, and it is the one thing we will never cut corners on.

I am Nisha, and I believe you can only truly enjoy the water when you feel completely safe. That is why I personally oversee our safety drills and training because I would not trust my swimmers with anything less than the best.
