Most blazers feel like a sauna in our heat, so I built these to be different. We use imported, breathable fabrics and skip the heavy linings, so you stay comfortable from your morning meeting to an evening event.

About Lightweight & All-Day Jackets
We construct these jackets with a lighter structure than standard suits, meaning no heavy padding or stiff lining to trap heat. We focus on natural airflow and precise fit, so you get that sharp, tailored look without feeling weighed down.
Why This Approach Matters
If you have ever felt stifled by a blazer in the Delhi summer, you know the struggle. My jackets are my solution to that. I source specific Giza cottons, Pima cottons, and European linens that allow your skin to breathe. The result is a jacket that keeps its sharp shape without the bulk.
The Construction
Most off-the-rack brands use heavy interlining and shoulder pads that turn a jacket into a sweat trap. At Nine, we use a lighter structure, often half-lined or unlined for our safari-style pieces. This gives you a natural, clean silhouette that sits perfectly on the shoulders without that stiff, armored feeling.

Every piece is custom-made at our Defence Colony studio. We handle everything from your initial fabric choice to the final steam press.
