Custom Hand-Painted Meditative Mandalas

byNidhiDelivered in BengaluruView full gallery

I create large-scale mandalas designed for focus and calm. Each piece involves 20 to 30 hours of meticulous, hand-drawn detailing, turning repetitive patterns into a meditative centrepiece for your home.

Here I am with a huge, custom-painted mandala on canvas. I love working on a large scale to create a truly immersive piece of art that becomes the centerpiece of any room.

This large 2x2 feet 'Magenta State of Mind' mandala is shown in a simple white frame. The intricate layers of magenta and purple create a mesmerizing effect that draws you into the center.

A custom-made mandala featuring the silhouette of Krishna and a calf against a glowing moon. The cool blue and green palette gives this spiritual piece a serene and calming feel, now at home in Germany.

A custom 60x60cm mandala in a powerful red, black, and white color combination. The bold colors and sharp contrasts make for a dramatic and eye-catching piece of wall art.

'Rainbow Riot', a 2x2 feet custom mandala that is an absolute explosion of color. This piece was a joy to create, with every ring bringing in a new, vibrant hue.

Me sitting with a large, custom sun and moon mandala painted on a black canvas. This piece shows the contrast between warm and cool colors and the intricate details that go into my work.

A custom-made souvenir featuring a hand-painted mandala border around a photograph. This is a wonderful way to turn a cherished memory into a unique piece of decorative art.

About this collection

These are not prints; each mandala is hand-drawn over 20 to 30 hours. Whether I am working on a 2x2 feet canvas or a smaller framed piece, the process remains the same—repetitive, focused, and intentional. I use archival-grade paper and high-pigment acrylics to ensure the colors stay vibrant, and because I don't use stencils, every single circle is unique to the piece you receive.

Creating a mandala is as much about the process as it is about the final image. I use a mix of archival ink pens and high-pigment acrylics, layering colors and intricate patterns to create a sense of symmetry and flow.

My Approach to Mandalas

  • The Process: Every dot and line is placed by hand. This repetition is my therapy, and I hope it brings that same sense of stillness to your living room or office wall.
  • Customization: You pick the mood. Some clients want 'Rainbow Riot' colors, while others prefer the calming blues and greens of spiritual themes like Krishna or the Sun and Moon. If you have a specific color palette in mind to match your furniture, we can chat about that during the consultation.
  • Materials: For smaller pieces, I use 300 GSM artist-grade paper to prevent buckling. For large 2x2 feet statement pieces, I use gallery-wrapped cotton canvas, finished with a UV-protective varnish so you can hang it anywhere without worrying about dust or fading.

Important Details

  • No Faces: I stick to geometric shapes, nature, and floral motifs. I do not draw human portraits or faces, as that is simply not my style.
  • Shipping: Whether you are in Bengaluru, somewhere else in India, or overseas in Germany or the US, I take great care to pack these safely. My framed pieces come with ready-to-hang hooks, so they are ready for your wall the moment they arrive.
