About Hand-Painted Home Decor & Accents
My Art, My Therapy
Painting is how I slow down, unwind, and feel at home in my own skin. I’m an architect, but honestly, I find more joy splashing colors than drawing plans. Every piece I make carries a bit of my story, and I hope it adds a spark to yours too.
What I Create
I love turning everyday things into art, especially old glass bottles. They start out as 'kabaad' (junk) and end up as upcycled bottle art, painted with peacocks, monkeys, desert scenes - whatever catches my fancy. Sometimes I use glass paints for a stained-glass effect - think butterflies floating in sunlight, or fish shimmering under water.
Furniture knobs and handles? I hand-paint those as well. The Pichwai-inspired ones with pink lotuses can totally change the vibe of a boring cabinet. I’ve done wooden knobs, lamp chimneys, festive candle holders, mandala hangings, and traditional Indian wall plates (Warli is a favorite).
Styles I Love
I’m drawn to Indian art forms like Pichwai, Gond, Warli, and Madhubani - the stories and patterns just speak to me. Sometimes I wing it and let the brush guide me, and those pieces end up feeling wild and fun.
The Quirks
I’m all about colour - loads of it. If you want something super subtle, I’m probably not your person. Oh, and I never paint faces - just one of my odd little rules! If you want something custom, let's chat - I’m always up for making something special together.

My Story
Hey, I’m Nidhi! Architect by job, but honestly, art’s my real jam. If you ask me, plants come first, always. My art’s a mashup of music, nature, flowers—sometimes I just let colours spill and magic happens. 2024 was tough, but I’m stubborn and hopeful, pouring wild, bright energy into every piece. Best part? Collaborating with my mom, mixing her threadwork with my painting. Art’s my therapy, and I hope you catch some of that joy too.
My Work
Handmade Art & Decor - I make custom pieces like Mandala wall murals, folk art (Gond, Madhubani, Pichwai, Cheriyal), bottle lamps, coasters, and even floral musical calendars.
Vibrant Colours & Fusion - Love wild colours! I blend Indian traditions with modern vibes, painting on everything from paper to glass—sunlight makes my work pop.
Made-to-Order Projects - Most work is custom. We chat, swap ideas, and I’ve shipped art to the US, Germany, even made Mysuru Dasara themed art for a Kannada song.
No Faces, Please - I’ll paint almost anything, but faces? Nope, never. It’s just my thing.
From My Heart to Your Home - Handmade art takes time and aches, but I keep it affordable so everyone can own something special.
