Featured Handmade Art and Custom Decor
A selection of my favorite projects, from vibrant folk art to custom glass paintings. Every piece here was born from my love for color and slow, mindful creation.
This custom glass painting was designed for a penthouse terrace window, bringing a flock of tropical birds indoors. It shows how art can be integrated directly into your home's architecture, creating a unique, light-filled feature.
Here I am with a huge, custom-painted mandala on canvas. I love working on a large scale to create a truly immersive piece of art that becomes the centerpiece of any room.
A finished Gond art painting featuring a pair of deer. This piece, created for an architect's project, showcases the fine lines and imaginative patterns typical of this traditional Indian folk art style.
This framed Pichwai-style cow, painted on glass, is surrounded by lotuses. The glass medium gives the colors a special luminosity, making it a vibrant addition to any wall.
A custom mandala nameplate created for a client in Singapore. I combine intricate doodle-style mandalas with elegant calligraphy to create a personalized piece of art that welcomes you home.
Inspired by the beautiful spring blooms of Bangalore, this painting is a tribute to my city. It captures the variety of trees like Jacaranda and Gulmohar, filled with tiny details of life enjoying nature.
This piece is a bouquet of memories, made from real pressed flowers and leaves I've collected from my travels. It's a unique way to bring the beauty of nature indoors, preserving it forever in a delicate arrangement.
About this collection
When you see a piece here that speaks to you, know that it is just the starting point. I do not just sell art, I collaborate. If you love a specific style like Gond or a glass painting technique but have your own wall or space in mind, we chat first. We figure out the sizing, the energy you want in that corner, and then I begin the work. Whether it is a door insert or a statement canvas, you are involved in the process, not just waiting for a delivery.
My Approach to Art
My work sits at the intersection of architecture and traditional Indian folk art. Because I am an architect by profession, I understand how a piece of art interacts with a room's lighting and spatial flow. Whether I am painting a large-scale mandala that requires twenty hours of steady focus or delicate glass art meant to catch the morning sun, the goal remains the same: to make handmade, soulful art accessible.
Traditional Techniques
I explore traditional forms like Gond, Madhubani, Pichwai, and Cheriyal. These are not just decorative; they are narratives. I use archival-grade paper and high-pigment acrylics to ensure these pieces last.
Glass and Custom Projects
Glass painting is a unique challenge. It is unforgiving, but the way light plays through the pigment makes it worth every extra minute. I have created custom glass inserts for architects, window accents for penthouse terraces, and intimate nameplates for homes as far away as Singapore.
A Note on My Process
- No Faces: You will notice my gallery is full of nature, birds, cows, and geometric beauty. I stay away from human portraits. It is a boundary that helps me keep my art as my therapy.
- Custom Orders: Most of my work is made-to-order. If you see a style you love in these photos, send me a message with your wall dimensions or your design idea. We will look at color palettes, shipping logistics, and timelines together.

Hi, I am Nidhi. By day, I am an architect, but my real jam is blending traditional Indian folk art with a bit of modern magic. I pour my heart into every painting, working with everything from canvas to glass, always making sure each piece brings a bit of that 'therapy for the soul' energy into your home.
