This is one of my proudest projects, a custom set of 20 individual Gond art paintings for a client in the USA. It shows the scale and variety I can bring to a large commission, creating a vibrant collection of Indian folk art animals and motifs to bring a touch of India to any home.
My 2025 Desk Calendar is here. This is the 4th year I'm creating these, and this edition combines three of my passions: florals, musical instruments, and intricate mandala patterns. It's a piece of art for your desk, with a new design to enjoy each month.
I love creating custom nameplates that reflect a family's personality. This "Gokulam" nameplate features a Pichwai-style cow and lotus details on a rich green background, complete with little hanging bells for a charming touch.
The "Tree of Life" is a powerful symbol, and this is my take on it in the Madhubani style. I used a striking combination of brick red and shimmering gold that really catches the light, with intricate patterns filling every leaf and branch. This original piece is available for sale.
This piece is from "The Moo Project," where I explored my love for cows through different folk art styles. Here, a serene Pichwai cow rests among lotus flowers, painted on a glass base to create a beautiful, luminous effect.
My art isn't just for walls. I create functional items like these Gond art coasters, which were part of a large bulk order for wedding favors. Each coaster features a different hand-painted animal design, making for a unique and memorable gift.
This piece is made from real pressed flowers and leaves I've collected during my travels from Bali to Bengaluru. I arrange these natural keepsakes into a delicate, lasting bouquet, preserving a little piece of nature's beauty.
I love giving old bottles a new life with paint. This one is covered in a vibrant garden of flowers and butterflies, hand-painted directly onto the glass. It's a perfect example of how I can turn everyday objects into unique decor pieces.
Beyond physical products, I also create custom digital artwork. I designed this vibrant cover art for a friend's musical single, "Mysuru Dasara," blending traditional motifs like the Ambaari elephant with a modern, graphic feel using Procreate on my iPad.

About Art Products & Digital Artwork

My Art, My Heart

Art is my way of coping, healing, and just having fun. I pour a lot of myself into each piece, hoping it brings a bit of that joy to your space. I’m obsessed with mixing traditional Indian styles like Gond and Madhubani with my own modern twist. So expect lots of colour, playful patterns, and a little bit of quirk.

What I’m Making Now

  • 2025 Desk Calendar: This is my 4th year making these, and I’m still excited every time. The theme? Florals, mandalas, and musical instruments, all in one. Each page has a unique combo - think Lotus & Guitar, Kanakambari & Drums, all detailed with mandala art. Printed on thick, good-quality paper and spiral bound. It’s a unique art calendar and only on pre-order till Dec 15.
  • Small Art Pieces:
    • Hand-painted bookmarks (honestly, these started it all for me!)
    • A5 “Rann ke Rang” paintings inspired by the colourful vibes of Kutch, framed and ready.
    • Pressed flower artwork from my travels - Bali, Chikamagaluru, Bengaluru.
    • “The Moo Project” - three glass pieces celebrating cows in different folk art styles.

Digital Art & Custom Stuff

I’m diving deep into custom digital illustration these days, experimenting on my iPad. The digital illustrations in my calendar are just the start - more to come! Love working with personal requests for paintings, nameplates, or anything artsy (except faces, that’s just not my thing!).

My Story

Hey, I’m Nidhi! Architect by job, but honestly, art’s my real jam. If you ask me, plants come first, always. My art’s a mashup of music, nature, flowers—sometimes I just let colours spill and magic happens. 2024 was tough, but I’m stubborn and hopeful, pouring wild, bright energy into every piece. Best part? Collaborating with my mom, mixing her threadwork with my painting. Art’s my therapy, and I hope you catch some of that joy too.

My Work

Handmade Art & Decor - I make custom pieces like Mandala wall murals, folk art (Gond, Madhubani, Pichwai, Cheriyal), bottle lamps, coasters, and even floral musical calendars.

Vibrant Colours & Fusion - Love wild colours! I blend Indian traditions with modern vibes, painting on everything from paper to glass—sunlight makes my work pop.

Made-to-Order Projects - Most work is custom. We chat, swap ideas, and I’ve shipped art to the US, Germany, even made Mysuru Dasara themed art for a Kannada song.

No Faces, Please - I’ll paint almost anything, but faces? Nope, never. It’s just my thing.

From My Heart to Your Home - Handmade art takes time and aches, but I keep it affordable so everyone can own something special.
