Dot mandalas are a labor of love, where thousands of precisely placed acrylic points create a textured, meditative surface. Explore these hand-painted pieces or request your own custom creation.
A full view of the 24-inch dot mandala. This piece was a labor of love, with every single dot carefully placed to create the layers of color and pattern. It's a great example of a large-scale commission I can create.
A close-up angle of the 24-inch beauty, showing the texture and precision of the dotting technique. You can see how the colors blend and transition through the layers.
Another perspective of my large dot mandala, highlighting the vibrant rings of color. This piece is currently available for purchase.
A smaller dot mandala from my collection, displayed on an easel. This piece uses a bright orange base with blue and yellow accents, creating a warm and energetic design.
About this collection
Achieving clean, circular dots requires consistent pressure and the right paint viscosity. I use an MDF board base for these pieces because it provides a smooth, non-absorbent surface, allowing the acrylic paint to sit perfectly raised and textured. This precision is exactly what we practice during my advanced dot masterclasses.
Creating these dot mandalas is a deeply meditative process. It is not just about the final design, but the rhythm of placing thousands of individual dots. When I am working on a commission, I start by priming the MDF board, which is essential for getting the paint to sit properly. From there, I build the design in layers, starting from the center and moving outward.
This technique requires absolute patience and focus. One wrong move with a dotting tool can alter the entire balance of the mandala. I often use Fevicryl acrylics because they provide the right consistency for that signature raised, textured look that makes these pieces pop.
Whether you are looking to buy a piece for your home in Mumbai or want to learn the craft, the core principle remains the same, which is finding your own flow state. In my Advanced Dot Mandala Masterclasses, I teach this exact method. We cover everything from base preparation and color theory to the mechanics of pressure control. If you have been looking for a way to slow down and create something beautiful, this style is a perfect place to start. Every piece you see here is a reflection of that practice, and I am always happy to create custom color palettes to match your living space.
