Custom Hand-Painted Nameplates & Event Decor

I design and hand-paint custom nameplates and event signage that add a personal touch to your home or special occasion. From traditional Gond to vibrant Pichwai, let's create something that feels like you.

I love creating custom nameplates that reflect a family's personality. This "Gokulam" nameplate features a Pichwai-style cow and lotus details on a rich green background, complete with little hanging bells for a charming touch.

This custom nameplate for the 'Yelburgis' family uses Pichwai-inspired lotus motifs against a deep teal background. The unique shape of the MDF base and the hanging bells make it a standout piece for any entrance.

A variation of the lotus-themed nameplate, this one for the 'Mansukhani's' uses a beautiful royal blue. I also added little paw prints as a sweet nod to the family's pet.

This nameplate, now in a home in Singapore, features a background of intricate orange and brown mandalas. The classic gothic-style lettering provides a beautiful contrast to the detailed patterns.

For the 'Chinoys' nameplate, I used a fiery orange background with white mandalas and added these lovely monarch butterfly charms. It's a great example of how we can add personal elements to your design.

A custom Gond art name board created for a wedding. The circular design features a tree of life motif filled with birds, encircling the couple's names, with two peacocks at the base symbolizing beauty and love.

Here you can see the wedding name board in its element, beautifully integrated into the event's floral decor. These hand-painted signs add a unique, personal touch to any celebration.

About this collection

I don't just paint these and send them off. For home nameplates, I use weather-treated MDF or solid wood bases and seal everything with layers of PU varnish so they can handle the elements. For wedding or engagement signs, I love making the boards reusable—you can repaint the small welcome sign for the wedding day or keep the big canvas as permanent home decor long after the ceremony ends.

Art That Speaks Your Story

When I work on a nameplate, I want it to be more than just a label on a door. Whether it is a Pichwai-inspired lotus design with bells for a welcoming entrance, or a detailed Gond art piece featuring a tree of life for a wedding, my goal is to weave your personality into the art.

How I Craft Your Piece

  • Durability Matters: I know these pieces often go outside, so I use weather-treated MDF or solid wood bases. Every piece gets multiple coats of PU (polyurethane) varnish to protect the artwork against sun and moisture.
  • Themed Customization: I specialize in Indian folk art forms like Gond, Madhubani, and Pichwai. If you love Mandalas, I can do those too. Just let me know your preferred color palette.
  • Event Signage: My engagement and wedding boards are designed with versatility in mind. The larger canvases are meant to be kept as home decor, while smaller welcome signs can be repurposed or repainted for the wedding day.

A Note on What I Do (And Don't Do)

I love experimenting with new surfaces and patterns, from crossword-style nameplates with pressed flowers to family-centric boards featuring your pets. However, I have one clear boundary: I do not paint human faces. It is just not my style. I prefer to focus on the vibrant patterns, nature, and the stories behind the names.
