Pricing Guide
Beginner Foundation (Kids & Novices)
Schedule & Duration
- Frequency: 3 Sessions per week (Alternate days).
- Duration: 60 Minutes per session.
- Batch Size: Group training (Approx. 1:12 to 1:15 ratio).
Technical Basics
- Grip & Stance: Correction of holding technique (Forehand/Backhand V-grip) to prevent pan-handle errors.
- Stroke Basics: Introduction to overhead tossing, basic service and underarm lifts.
- Footwork: Learning the Chasse step, split step and basic 4-corner movement without the shuttle.
- Equipment: Training primarily with Nylon Shuttles (Yonex Mavis 350 or equivalent) for durability.
Physical & Fun
- Agility Drills: Use of agility ladders and mini-hurdles to improve foot speed.
- Coordination Games: Fun-based reaction games to build court awareness.
- Fitness: Basic warm-up (jogging, dynamic stretching) and cool-down routine.
Intermediate Development Program
Schedule & Intensity
- Frequency: 5 to 6 Sessions per week.
- Duration: 90 to 120 Minutes per session.
- Focus: Transitioning from recreational play to competitive structure.
Drill Specifications
- Multi-Shuttle Feeding: Medium intensity feeding (approx. 20-30 shuttles per set) to improve stroke consistency.
- Stroke Correction: Active intervention by coaches on specific errors (e.g. racket carriage height).
- Rally Situations: 1 vs 1 half-court and full-court restraint routines.
- Shuttlecock: Usage of Feather Shuttles (Grade 2/3 practice grade) or high-quality Hybrids.
Fitness & Conditioning
- On-Court Fitness: Suicides (shuttle runs), shadow footwork (6-point corners) and frog jumps.
- Strength Work: Bodyweight exercises (pushups, squats, lunges) integrated into the session.
- Video Analysis: Occasional recording of strokes for visual feedback.
High-Performance Competitive (Advanced)
Professional Regime
- Frequency: 6 days per week (Potential for double sessions: Morning Fitness / Evening On-Court).
- Duration: 2.5 to 3 Hours per day.
- Coach Ratio: Low ratio (1:4 or 1:6) for personalized tactical mentorship.
Advanced Tactics
- High-Intensity Drills: Reaction Multi drills, 2 vs 1 attack/defense variations and 3 vs 1 pressure drills.
- Match Simulation: Tournament-style scoring matches with strategy discussions.
- Shuttlecock: Heavy usage of Premium Feather Shuttles (Tournament Grade) for matches and drills.
Holistic Development
- Specialized S&C: Dedicated sessions with Strength & Conditioning coach using resistance bands and weights.
- Mental Conditioning: Pre-session focus routines including Om Chanting and Deep Breathing to enhance concentration.
- Tournament Prep: Periodization planning for upcoming district/state selection tournaments.
- Flooring: Priority access to BWF-standard synthetic mats.
Adult Fitness & Skills

- Frequency: 3 Sessions per week (Morning or Late Evening slots).

- Goal: Cardio-vascular fitness combined with skill enhancement.
Training Scope
- Technique Refinement: Correction of bad habits (grip/swing) to prevent injuries like tennis elbow.
- Game-Play Focus: 30% Drills / 70% Match Play with tactical inputs from the coach.
- Drills: Low-impact multi-shuttle feeding to improve court coverage without extreme joint stress.
- Fitness: Functional warm-ups focusing on mobility (shoulders/knees) and core stability exercises.

My Way of Coaching
At Navodaya Badminton Academy, we keep things real. I’m Shrishail Mitkari, and I’ve played at the national level. For me, it’s all about passion, perseverance, and performance. I won’t sugarcoat stuff. If your basics are off, I’ll say it straight - ‘तूने shuttle मारा नीचे से ऊपर’ (You hit the shuttle from below). We fix it right then. The goal is to ‘हमेशा flat मारना है’ (always hit it flat).
How We Train
No shortcuts here, only hard work.
- Multi-shuttle badminton drills to boost attack, defense, and reaction speed.
- Loads of rally practice - 1v1, 2v1, 3v1 - so you learn to handle pressure.
- Badminton footwork training is serious business. You’ll hear me shout “Quick, quick, quick!” while you cover all four corners and work on smash-tap moves.
Building Strength & Mindset
We don’t just play with a racket. Strength and conditioning for badminton is a must, so expect agility ladders, resistance bands, weights, and regular fitness checks. Mindset coaching for players is part of daily warm-ups: deep breathing, Om chanting, and focus drills. When it’s crunch time, I want you to ‘Points लो’ (take points).

Facilities
Train at pro-level courts in Navi Mumbai, Kalyan, and Badlapur. Wooden and synthetic surfaces, all the gear, no excuses.

My Story
Hey, Shrishail Mitkari here. Badminton is not just a sport for me, it’s my heartbeat. I started Navodaya Badminton Academy in Navi Mumbai to shape future champs. My style? Direct, loud, and on-court. 'Smash! Quick, quick!'—you’ll hear me. If you mess up, I’ll tell you. तूने क्या किया था? ये मारा. (What was that shot?) But before we smash shuttles, we chill the mind with Om chanting, breathing, Bhramari. Mind first, body next. Watching kids and adults win medals—best feeling.
