Our Approach to Design and Space Transformation
We believe design is a conversation between your home and those who live in it. Our philosophy focuses on stripping away the unnecessary to create spaces that feel deeply personal, grounded, and timeless.
Witness the complete transformation of a villa's outdoor space. This video shows our process from the initial demolition to the final, stunning result, featuring a new pool, a custom mosaic wall, and thoughtfully designed seating areas.
Here, I, Parul, share our insights from India Design 2024. I discuss the industry's move towards sustainability, the art of mixing classic and contemporary styles, and how we incorporate these forward-thinking trends into our own design philosophy.
In this video, we share some practical tips for keeping your home cool during the summer. Our advice focuses on passive cooling strategies like using water features and vertical gardens, reflecting our philosophy of working with nature, not against it.
About Our Design Philosophy & Process
We approach every project by observing how light travels through your rooms and how you move within them. Every design starts with a conversation about what you need to feel at home, whether it is the quiet of a zen corner or the energy of a social lounge. We prioritize natural materials, local craftsmanship, and layouts that respect the inherent flow of your property, ensuring the final result feels honest rather than staged.
When we begin a project, our goal is to remove distractions and focus on the core function of the space. We lean into Organic Modern and Warm Minimalist aesthetics, blending the classic with the contemporary to ensure your home remains relevant for years.
The Five Elements in Design
Our process is rooted in what we call the five Tatvas—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space.
- Earth: We introduce stone, timber, and clay textures to anchor the space and add weight.
- Water: Even in compact apartments, we find ways to integrate small fountains or water features to alter the acoustic environment.
- Fire: We focus on warm, layered lighting that mimics the glow of a sunset, steering away from harsh overheads.
- Air and Space: Our layouts prioritize ventilation and openness, ensuring your home has room to breathe.
Instead of imposing a rigid style, we adapt to the site’s constraints. If you have a tricky backyard in a Gurgaon villa or a limited balcony in a Delhi apartment, we solve for it with low-maintenance, high-impact design choices. We prefer wood, stone, and natural fabrics that age gracefully. Our goal is to design a sanctuary that feels as authentic as it does beautiful.
