About The Book Lovers' Club: A Home for Readers
Our book club isn't about rigid literary criticism or academic jargon. We keep things informal and conversational, gathering on the second Sunday of every month to share honest thoughts on the selected book while enjoying a slow breakfast overlooking Ulsoor Lake.
A Space for Readers, Not Critics
Founded in 2010, our Book Lovers' Club was born from a simple desire to keep stories alive in our city. Whether you are a voracious reader or someone looking to pick up a new book, you will find no gatekeeping here. Our sessions are designed to be chill and inclusive, often resembling friends swapping notes rather than a formal literature seminar.
What to Expect
We meet every second Sunday of the month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The format is flexible, featuring author interactions, moderated Q&A sessions, and open discussions. We have hosted over 50 published authors, giving our members a rare chance to engage directly with the people behind the stories they read.
The Setting
We believe the environment matters as much as the conversation. You will find us in our cafe space, where theater-style seating is arranged to encourage listening and sharing. While the entry to the event is free, we encourage our members to enjoy our cafe menu, making it the perfect way to spend a relaxed Sunday morning. Grab a coffee, settle into your chair, and come prepared to listen, share, or just soak in the energy of fellow book lovers in Bangalore.
