About Beginner Music Summer Camp
What Makes Our Summer Camp Special
Every summer, I get to watch kids light up when they try music for the first time. This camp is my way of giving children a safe space to play, make friends, and see what music can do for them. Some come in shy, most have never touched an instrument, but by the end, they surprise themselves - and me.
Who Should Join
If your child is new to music, even if all they do is sing in the shower or tap on the table, this is for them. I keep everything beginner-friendly. No pressure, just a gentle start. This is a kids music introduction camp, not a competition.
What We Cover
- Intro to Guitar, Piano/Keyboard, and Western Vocals
- Sometimes we add Hindustani Vocals, if enough kids are interested
- Basic rhythms and music games that actually make learning fun
How the Camp Works
- The camp runs every April and May
- I run a hybrid setup: offline at our Rustam Bagh studio (Bangalore) or join live online, whichever suits you
Why Kids Love It
By the end, every child gets a chance to perform in a beginner music performance camp showcase. It’s not about perfection, but about stepping up and feeling proud. Sessions are full of laughter, goof-ups, and those “I did it!” moments. Kids leave with real memories - and often, new friends.

My Story
Hey, we’re AMP. Students call us that, and it kinda stuck. We’re more than just music lessons - we’re a bunch of folks who love seeing someone go from shy to stage-ready. Kids belting out tunes, teens shredding solos, adults surprising themselves. Our own band, August Quartet, keeps us playful, mixing jazz standards with Konkani classics. Awards are cool, but it’s those small wins - first song, mom-son duets, funny jazz improv - that make us happiest. We started out wanting a music community, and that’s what we’ve got.
