Every workshop at SEM Fitness Academy includes real-time, frame-by-frame video analysis. When you walk in, we don't just show you how to lift; we break down your biomechanics to see exactly where your technique is failing. It is the difference between guessing why a lift feels heavy and actually knowing how to fix your leverage to move it safely.

I started SEM Fitness Academy because I was tired of seeing athletes and aspiring coaches struggle with 'half-baked' advice. In these weekend intensives, we strip everything back to the basics. Whether we are focusing on the Snatch and Clean & Jerk or gymnastic foundations like handstands, we use a simple, structured process:

The Method

  • Theory First: We use a whiteboard to break down the anatomy and physics of the movement. You need to understand the 'why' before your body can execute the 'how'.
  • PVC Drills: We start with a pipe to master the motor pattern. If you cannot move a pipe perfectly, you have no business touching a loaded barbell.
  • Loaded Practice: Only when your form is tight do we add weight. This is how we prevent injury and build longevity in the sport.

Why This Matters

Most gyms offer a 'pump' but very few offer 'education'. My students, like those you see in these videos, often come to me thinking they know how to lift. By the end of two days, they realise they were only tapping into a fraction of their potential. If you are serious about becoming a certified trainer or just want to lift without hurting your back, this is where you start. We train in a raw, non-AC warehouse environment in Dwarka with competition-grade equipment because that is where real work happens. Bring your own hydration, bring your focus, and be ready to sweat.
