Saturday mornings are for outdoor training. We take our sessions to the beach for a change of scenery and a tougher workout. Running and drilling on the sand builds incredible leg strength, stamina, and mental grit.
Teamwork is a huge part of our training philosophy. In this Saturday partner workout, our members push each other through challenging drills like fireman's carries, building both physical strength and the bonds of camaraderie that define our academy.
About Outdoor & Agility Training
We don't just run laps; we turn the outdoors into a high-intensity gym. Whether it is dragging tractor tyres, partner carries on the sand, or agility ladder sprints on our Charkop track, our sessions build the kind of functional grit you simply cannot find on a treadmill.
Most gyms have you lifting iron while staring at a wall. That is not how we do things at Mumbai Boxing Academy. Our outdoor and agility training program is about preparing your body for unpredictable situations, whether that is inside the boxing ring or in daily life.
Why We Go Outdoors
Boxing is about movement, speed, and explosiveness. You cannot develop that by sitting on a machine. Our outdoor sessions use the natural environment to challenge your balance, coordination, and reaction time. From beach workouts that build leg strength to functional partner drills that test your endurance, everything we do has a purpose.
What You Will Actually Do
- Functional Strength: We use non-traditional tools like Gada, Mudgar, and heavy tractor tyres to build raw, usable power.
- Agility & Speed: Sprints, ladder drills, and reaction training to make sure you are fast, not just strong.
- Conditioning: High-intensity sessions designed to spike your heart rate and build the cardiovascular engine needed for combat sports.
- Team Dynamics: Our partner workouts are a huge part of the culture here. You push each other, you sweat together, and you grow as a team.
This isn't about getting 'beach body' muscles. It is about becoming an athlete. Whether you are a beginner looking to break the monotony or a fighter prepping for the next tournament, these sessions will test your limits and help you reset your focus. No frills, no excuses—just real work.
