These peaceful, swaddled portraits are my favourite way to freeze time. My Thane studio is a quiet, comfortable haven where I use soft knits, tiny props, and endless patience to capture your Kulanthai's first days.

There's nothing sweeter than a baby in a bear bonnet. This cozy, neutral setup with a tiny teddy bear friend is a classic for a reason. It's all about capturing that innocent, sleepy perfection.

A simple, classic potato sack pose is one of my favorites. It shows off the baby's perfect little face and keeps them feeling secure and sleepy, wrapped in soft, earthy tones.

I have a collection of tiny, baby-safe wooden beds that create the most adorable scenes. This little one looks so peaceful sleeping in a cozy knit outfit on a bed of soft wool.

Even at two months old, we can achieve beautiful, sleepy portraits. This sweet girl was colicky, but with patience and my calming techniques, we captured this serene moment in just 90 minutes.

That little smile just melts my heart. Dressed in a soft white knit romper and nestled in a wire basket, this portrait captures a moment of pure, dreamy bliss.

I love working with soft color palettes. This baby girl is beautifully swaddled in dusty pink, with a matching floral headband that adds just the right touch of sweetness.

The richness of this deep blue wrap and bonnet makes this baby's peaceful features stand out so beautifully. It's a wonderful color choice for a baby boy's first portrait session.

A simple and sweet setup with a classic white wrap and bonnet. The little moon and star props add a touch of magic, creating a dreamy 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star' theme.

This little princess looks so lovely in lavender. The delicate floral crown and the tiny ballerina doll she's holding make this a truly unique and precious portrait.

I love combining different textures and props. Here, a chunky knit blanket, a rustic wooden drawer, and fresh flowers create a beautiful, whimsical scene for this sleeping baby.

About Classic Wrapped & Posed Portraits

Safety is my absolute priority, especially for these wrapped poses which often use professional composite techniques. Whether your baby is a few days old or nearing two months, I never rush a session. I take all the time needed to soothe and settle them, making sure they are perfectly comfortable while we capture those peaceful, sleepy portraits.

My Studio Approach

My studio in Majiwada is designed specifically for newborns. It's climate-controlled to keep your baby cozy, and I have a dedicated prop wonderland—from rustic wooden beds and baskets to dreamy moon and star setups. Everything is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before your session, ensuring a safe environment for your little one.

Why Wrapped & Posed?

These sessions are about capturing the details that change so quickly. The swaddling makes babies feel secure, which is why they stay so calm and sleepy. It's not just about the pose; it's about the textures—the chunky knits, the soft wraps, and the delicate bonnets that make every photo feel like a piece of art.

What to Expect

  • Patience-First: I’ve worked with over 1,000 babies, including those who are colicky or fussy. I go at their pace, not the clock's.
  • No Prep Needed: You don't need to bring a thing. My prop collection is extensive, with colours ranging from earthy neutrals to soft pastels.
  • Parent Involvement: While the focus is on the baby, I love including parents and siblings in these setups to capture those first family bonds.

Booking Details

I recommend booking during your pregnancy to secure your spot. The best time for these classic, sleepy shots is within the first 2-3 weeks, but I am very happy to photograph babies up to 2 months old. If you're looking for something specific, like a particular colour theme or prop, let me know when we chat!
