Why I Do This

After 15 years and 1,000+ babies, becoming an Amma made everything about newborn photography hit different. I get that urge to just hold on to every detail of your kulanthai (baby) - those tiny feet, sleepy smiles, even the yawns. My job is to make sure you never forget these moments.

What to Expect in My Studio

My Thane studio is set up only for babies and new families. It's all about your baby's comfort and safety, no matter if they're just days old or a bit older and colicky. I’ve learned all the tricks to keep babies calm and cozy, so most little ones just drift off to sleep. If they fuss, no tension - we go slow, I never rush.

My Style

Classic posed and wrapped shots are my specialty. I love soft wraps and gentle swaddling - those peaceful, sleepy portraits last forever.
I also do minimal newborn studio sessions, where the focus is just on your baby - little hands, feet, those tiny details that change so fast.
Family always welcome! Amma, Appa, big siblings - these natural newborn family portraits are some of my favourite clicks.

My Prop Wonderland

No need to bring anything. I've got baskets, wooden beds, moon props, chunky knits, cute bonnets (those bear ears, ya!), and setups from earthy to pastel. All cleaned and safe for your newborn.

Quick Notes

Best time for those classic sleepy shots is in the first 2-3 weeks, but I’m totally cool with babies up to 2 months. Everything happens here in my studio, where you can just relax and soak it in.

My Story

Hi, I’m Mridula. After 15 years and a thousand babies, I finally became an Amma myself! My son Caden—my Kulanthai—he’s my muse now. Amma is a bit extra, I started hoarding props before he was born. My husband and our dog Luca, we’re all part of this little circus. These days, I get why moms want to freeze every moment. It’s wild, it’s warm, and it’s made me pour even more heart into every photo.
