About Timeless Studio Portraits
While these images look serene, they rely on a carefully managed environment. My Powai studio is temperature-controlled to keep your baby comfortable, and every wrap or blanket used is hypoallergenic and sanitized. For those complex, artistic poses you see, I either work with an assistant or use professional composite techniques to ensure your little one is always supported and secure.
When you book a studio session with me, my priority is creating a space that feels calm for both you and your baby. My Powai studio is designed specifically for newborns, featuring a curated selection of rustic bowls, tiny beds, and textured blankets.
What happens during your session
We typically follow a 'beanbag flow', which allows us to transition through different poses without disturbing your baby's sleep. Whether you prefer the classic wrapped look, which keeps your baby secure and cozy, or a more open, artistic setup, I focus on angles that highlight those tiny features—the chubby cheeks, sleepy yawns, and delicate fingers.
Safety and comfort
I never force a pose. If a baby fusses, we pause for feeding or soothing. My studio uses high-quality, stretch fabrics that allow for comfortable movement while maintaining the desired aesthetic. Because I work with infants, I am strict about hygiene, ensuring all props and fabrics are washed with baby-safe detergents after every shoot.
When to book
The best window for these classic portraits is within the first 14 days, when your baby is most likely to stay in those deep, sleepy positions. However, if you missed that early window, don't worry. I also conduct sessions for 3 to 6-month-olds, where we can capture more expressive, alert moments and those first interactions.
