Sweet Dreams & Posed Newborn Portraits
Those first days with your baby fly by so fast, yaar. I capture these sleepy, curled-up moments with soft wraps and creative props so you can hold onto them forever.
This is one of my absolute favorite setups! It takes a lot of patience to get a newborn this sleepy and perfectly posed on the moon prop, but the result is pure magic. This dreamy celestial theme is perfect for creating a timeless memory of your little one.
Look at this little angel, all snuggled up. I created the word LOVE using soft pink flowers to frame the baby, making for a super sweet and classic newborn portrait. It’s a simple, beautiful way to celebrate your new love.
There is nothing more beautiful than the bond between a mother and her new baby. For this session, we used matching emerald green gowns against a moody floral backdrop to create an elegant and artistic portrait.
Here is a little video peek of the 'LOVE' setup in action. The gentle movements and sleepy expressions are just too precious to miss. Posed newborn photography is all about capturing these peaceful, fleeting moments.
About Sweet Dreams & Posed Portraits
The hardest part of these sessions is not the camera work, but the patience it takes to get that perfect, peaceful pose. Whether it is a crescent moon setup or a floral arrangement, I usually spend about 40 minutes just getting your baby comfortable and settled, often with plenty of breaks for feeding and cuddles to ensure the shoot is stress-free.
Capturing Your Baby's First Days
I believe these early moments are pure magic. My studio sessions are designed around one thing: keeping your baby happy and safe while we get those iconic, sleepy portraits. I have over 8 years of experience in newborn posing, so you never have to worry about your little one's comfort.
How It Works
- The Best Time: The magic happens when the baby is between 5 and 15 days old. This is when they are most comfortable in those curly, fetal positions.
- Safe Setups: Whether it is a dreamy celestial moon theme or a classic floral basket, everything is sanitized. I use soft, high-quality wraps and props to create an environment where your baby can sleep peacefully.
- Flexible Pacing: I never rush a shoot. If your baby needs a feed or a change, we pause. The 2 to 4 hour duration allows us to work at their pace, not the clock's.
My Approach
I offer a mix of studio-based posed photography and, if you prefer, luxury at-home sessions where I bring the portable studio to you in Mumbai. My goal is to capture the details that change in the blink of an eye, like tiny toes, button noses, and those first peaceful yawns. If you have a specific theme in mind, like a little Krishna setup or something totally unique, tell me, and let’s make it happen. Jai Shri Krishna!
