Mountains and Global Vistas

About Mountains & Global Vistas
I work on these landscapes using multi-layered acrylics for texture, or gouache for that soft, matte finish, depending on the vibe of the place. Whether you prefer a rigid MDF panel for a desk piece or a gallery-wrapped canvas for your wall, we can choose a surface that fits your space perfectly.
Nature has a way of grounding us, even when it’s just a view hanging on a wall. In this collection, I focus on capturing the essence of the places that make us pause and breathe. From the mist-covered peaks of Japan to the tranquil, palm-lined backwaters of Kerala, I aim to freeze those moments of stillness in my paintings.
How I Approach Your Landscape
Every piece is a process. I often start with the background to set the atmosphere, then layer in the light, reflections, and tiny details like rustling leaves or glowing windows.
- Acrylics on Canvas: For scenes that need depth and vibrant, long-lasting color, I use heavy-body acrylics. These are varnished to protect against dust and UV rays.
- Gouache on Paper: If you love that soft, vintage, or Ghibli-inspired aesthetic, gouache on 300 GSM cotton paper is often the best choice.
- Customization: You don't have to pick a famous location. If you have a photo from a recent trip, a childhood memory, or just a place you dream of visiting, send me the reference. We can chat about the color palette and the emotion you want the painting to hold, and I will build that scene for you.
Whether it’s a small 4-inch canvas for your workspace or a larger 16x20 inch piece to anchor your living room, my goal is to make sure the final result feels like a little window into peace.
