About My Creative Sanctuary
Whenever I feel stuck, I don't force the art. I start by clearing my desk, organizing my brushes, and bringing in fresh flowers. This reset is just as much a part of my process as the painting itself, helping me find that calm headspace again before I start a new canvas.
My studio isn't just a place where I work. It is my sanctuary, a room filled with sunlight, flowers, and the acrylics or gouache I use to freeze moments of peace. Whether I am struggling with an art block or lost in the flow of a new landscape, the environment matters. I believe that an organized space leads to an organized mind, which is why you will often see me shifting furniture or rearranging my paint collection to start fresh.
My Creative Process
I build every piece of landscape art layer by layer. I start with the background, slowly adding the depth of mountains, the shimmer of water, or the tiny details of a forest. My work is heavily inspired by nature—from the backwaters of Kerala to the autumns of Kyoto. If you are looking for custom art, I use high-quality cotton paper, professional-grade stretched canvas, and MDF boards to ensure your piece lasts.
Finding Your Piece
Many of you come to me looking for a specific feeling. Perhaps it is a sunset that reminds you of home, or a fantasy forest that brings you comfort. I love collaborating on these ideas. My art therapy style relies on open communication; we will chat about your preferred color palette, the mood you want to capture, and the space where the artwork will live in your home.
Care and Materials
I use lightfast acrylics and rich gouache to bring these scenes to life. Each canvas is varnished for UV protection, ensuring the colors remain as vibrant as the day I painted them. If you have questions about custom dimensions, framing, or how to care for your new painting, I am always here to talk through the details.
