About Nature's Canvas: Landscapes & Seascapes
When I paint these landscapes, I use heavy-body acrylics or rich oils to give the canvas texture that you can actually see and feel. Each piece is finished with a protective varnish, so that deep blue of the ocean or the vibrant pink of the lotus stays fresh in your home for years. We can customize the size to fit your space perfectly, from a 2ft nook to a massive 8ft wall.
Bringing Nature Indoors
Nature is my biggest inspiration. Whether I am painting a misty forest, a sun-drenched lotus pond, or the powerful pull of the ocean, my goal is to capture the specific energy of that scene. I don't just paint what I see; I paint how the place makes me feel. It is about creating a window to a tranquil world right inside your living room.
My Process and Materials
Every landscape is an original, freehand commission.
- Acrylics or Oils: I use both mediums depending on the look we want. Oils offer a depth and richness that is perfect for classic, detailed landscapes, while acrylics are great for bold, modern pieces with vibrant, textured layers.
- Canvas Quality: I use fine grain cotton canvas (300-350 GSM) so the surface is smooth and ready for the paint to sit beautifully.
- Protection: Every painting is sealed with high-gloss or matte varnish to guard against dust and UV fading, keeping the colors bright.
Customizing Your Vision
Do you have a specific place that brings you peace? We can start there. During our consultation, we will discuss the color palette, the mood, and the exact dimensions that will transform your wall. If you are in Bangalore, Mumbai, or Pune, I typically deliver the canvas stretched and ready to hang. For other locations, I ship the artwork rolled in a sturdy PVC tube to keep it safe, so you can have it framed locally with your favorite style of border.
