Lush Waterfall and Forest Paintings
I love capturing the peace of hidden waterfalls and dense woods on canvas. These nature-inspired pieces bring a sense of quiet and fresh air into any room.
A process video of me painting a serene waterfall in a sunlit forest. My favorite color is green, and I love using its different shades to create these peaceful nature scenes.
The finished painting of the sunlit waterfall, showing the light filtering through the trees and hitting the water. This piece is all about capturing that magical forest glow.
This waterfall was painted using just four shades of acrylic paint. It's a great example of how you can create depth and realism with a limited palette, a technique I love to teach.
Holding my finished mini waterfall painting. This small canvas captures the feeling of being lost in the woods, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
A longer process video for those who asked, showing in more detail how I paint a realistic waterfall and the surrounding forest landscape.
Painting nature is therapy for me. This was the first piece I created in my new studio, a beautiful waterfall scene that brought so much peace to my new space.
A process video of a waterfall painting with a twist. I added a colorful sunset sky above the forest, blending warm and cool tones to create a unique and magical atmosphere.
I can't stop painting waterfalls. This video shows another version, this time with a soft, glowing sky that adds a touch of warmth to the cool greens and blues of the forest.
Green landscapes are my favorite. This video shows the creation of a waterfall painting on a canvas panel, a perfect way to beat the Monday blues.
Art is therapy. Another peaceful video of me painting a green waterfall scene, a process that always calms me down.
About Lush Waterfalls & Forests
I build my forest scenes by layering acrylics, starting with the deep background and finishing with fine details like mist and light. Since these are custom, I work with you to choose the color palette—whether you want a misty morning vibe or a golden sunlit forest—so the painting fits your space perfectly.
Nature is my muse. Whether it is the cool, fresh spray of a hidden waterfall or the quiet green of a dense forest, I try to freeze those fleeting, peaceful moments on canvas. My work is inspired by Ghibli-style landscapes and cottagecore fields, focusing on depth and light to make the scene feel alive.
My Process & Materials
I use high-quality, professional acrylics for my paintings. For smaller pieces, I often work on 300 GSM cotton paper or 4-6 inch mini canvases, which are great for small nooks. For larger gallery-wrapped canvases up to 16x20 inches, I use stretched cotton on wood frames, which come ready to hang without needing external framing. My medium landscape boards (up to 10x12 inches) are created on rigid MDF panels, providing a sturdy, textured surface that handles palette knife work beautifully.
Bringing Nature Home
If you have a photo of a place you love, or just a feeling you want to capture, we can talk about it. I send 2-3 updates while I work, so you get to see your painting come together. Once finished, I varnish every piece to protect it from dust and light, ensuring it stays vibrant for years. Whether you are in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, or anywhere in India, I make sure your painting is carefully packed and shipped to reach you safely.
