Why We Exist
I started this space because I know the pain of figuring out "what to eat" every single day. Babaa's Joint is my answer - a spot where you can just relax, eat, and not overthink your order. It's got that old-school, chill vibe, and honestly, most people end up staying longer than planned.
The Feel
The place is artsy, walls have stories, and nobody's in a rush. It's my version of a relaxed, homely cafe - not fancy, but you'll feel like you belong. If you want that ghar ka khana cafe (home-cooked food in a cafe) experience, that's what I'm aiming for.
Menu Highlights
I keep it simple but tasty:
- Momos (Chicken & Veg) that are always fresh
- Sandwiches and buns like Keema or Paneer Bhurji (some only on certain days)
- Tangy Ramen and classic Maggie for comfort cravings
- Brownies (loaded with walnuts), Blueberry Cheesecake, and our Death by Chocolate cake for when the sweet tooth kicks in
- Proper cutting chai, Hazelnut Coffee (hot/cold), and rich Hot Chocolate

People rave about the Walnut Brownies, Hazelnut Coffee, our Sandwiches, and, of course, the momos. Tangy Ramen is a wild card, but regulars love it.

My Story
Hey, we’re Mom’s Food! Family-run, straight from our kitchen. My mom’s magic - her 'ammana kai ruchi' (mom’s touch) - is the reason people keep coming back. If you’re missing home food or just too busy, we get it. Eight years, one small cafe (Babaa’s Joint), and a whole lot of heart. Our food’s got feelings, not just flavour. Come for a tiffin, stay for the vibe.
